These were pictures posted a few months ago of the workshop in which the Enzo was assembled. The thread disappeared apparently in the last crash of F-Chat.
Thanks Brian for the pictures .......hmmm, first time I see those pictures.......I didn't mean those, but now I am very curious. The ones I meant and were posted here on F-Chat were of an Enzo being assembled together, body panels and all, in a really messy workshop, not a perfect enviroment like you see above.
Wonder where those messy pictures were taken. I am sure someone will still have them on his hard-disk.
No problem. i actually apologize if i reposted those pics of someone else's. i saved all those pics quite some time ago on Fchat.
I guess you haven't seen the McLaren factory then......the Ferrari factory is a mess compared to theirs. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This is the main factory/office located in Woking, England. (Built at a cost of approx. $500 million). Of course, the main areas and workshops can be seen and photographed thru glass, but to get up close and walk thru the assembly and testing areas is forbidden! An associate of mine has been on the shop floor installing machinery, and had to be subjected to strict screening and security codes. I believe at the Ferrari factory they are not as strict as Ron Dennis' company!
You're also comparing a F1 R&D facility with a street car production line. I bet the Ferrari GES workshop is similarly pristine. Gio P
Yes, the SLR assembly section is pristine as well! Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah....I am still hoping someone saved these messy Enzo-workshop pictures on their hard-disk and will post them. They were quite interesting.
Tarek, I know exactly which pictures you were talking about. I think it was a pic of a storage room/area which was used to store fibreglass/carbon models of the Enzo. Parts were piled up and thrown very messily all over the room.
