Wow - seems like ages ago it was wrecked. Maybe the owner decided he had used up his luck and bought a tank. :) He has friends on the board - any news?

Assuming it can be fixed, when you're done you have a salvage title Dino with lots of stories. Starting at $89K, you're gonna be WAY upside down for the rest of your life.

I dunno, $40K would seem like a lot to me. Hell, you have to replace the front HALF of the car, and hit that hard, you're gonna find all kinds of stuff wrong.

Of course the parts value? Who knows, but certainly not $90K worth.

Damn shame, but not really surprising that the previous owner decided not to fix it.

    Maybe bent beyond repair.

STEEP ! THE PARTS FOR THAT CAR WOULD MAKE FIXING THIS A POOR INVESTMENT ! I WOULD RATHER BUY A GOOD ONE AND DRIVE IT.
I WOULD NOT EVEN OFFER MORE THAN $15000 TO BUY THAT DINO FOR PARTS.PROBERLY LOSE MONEY ON IT.

Holy moly, it looks like that car hit a wall at 100mph! It looks like it took the hit fairly well. The cockpit is still fully functional and almost devoid of damage sans the bent steering wheel. That had to hurt. So sad seeing a lovely Dino like that.

Yes, that's Zano's car. He crashed the car here in Florida about a year ago. He was very lucky. He survived the accident. The car was a daily driver for him. It was a nice car. That little Dino took a big hit. He was driving down US41 and someone just pulled out in front of him.

That hit doesn't look too bad, it wasn't even hard enough to set off the airbags :).

I owned that car from 1997 until 2003. While under my ownership, the transmission, suspension and engine were all rebuild by Continental Autosports in Hinsdale, IL. It was a great running car, unfortunately the accident has taken its toll.

I think the implication that he was doing nothing wrong does a disservice to the community. The aftermath of this accident provides a good lesson - watch your speed, especially in traffic. You can't always predict what other people are going to do. He is fortunate that he is still alive to talk about it.
