It is a nice part of the world, horribly fiddly to get where I was going though (West Wilts Golf Club)(thank you tomtom).
Traffic through Bath wasnt much fun on a Friday afternoon either
Still, love the buildings there though.

That is a lovely part of the country -- I can't think of anywhere in England more beautiful or impressive than Royal Crescent....

    Yep :D

My Mum & I have travelled loads of the world & still say Bath is one of the best places to be/most attractive :D
Yes, beautiful & not too touristy for what it is & where I live not touristy at all but only 8 miles away - heaven :D

The Roman Baths amazing - you can walk on streets over 2000 years old which are 15 feet under modern street level - pretty amazing as a concept!

Next time you guys are in the Bath area, check out "Gorse Lane". It's a little short-cut road that is quite "exciting" at 75+. It is a left-turn off the A420 (heading East at the top of Tog Hill) just prior to the A46 intersection. About 25 years or so ago it had a big hump that would cause your stomach to firmly implant itself in your throat. The "Department of Boring Roads" came along and "fixed" it. Back then, I'm sure that you could've probably caught some "big air" (and consequent brown trousers) at around 90+. Good times.

    Sorry for the thread diversion...

Also saw this very beautiful and very rare (in the UK) GTS Turbo at Dick Lovetts in Cardiff.
Built specifically for the Italian market who were heavily taxed for cars with engines exceeding 2 litres.
It features a 2 litre V8 turbocharged engine

Too light for TdF, too dark for Azzuro California ... reminds me of Blu Sebring

Black 400i being driven on the M4 near Slough in pretty heavy traffic. Was being driven by a woman with 3 kids in the car. The kids looked really happy!

made a day-trip to London on Saturday, it was nice weather and saw a few nice F-cars:

    Saturday 22/09:
Red 355 on Victoria Embankment heading east towards Tower Bridge, around 9,30AM. Another red 355 on the M4 near Heston heading towards Heathrow around 1230, followed by a black 430 on the same road about 5mins later on the Chiswick flyover. Then a silver 360 convertible on Colney Hatch Lane, Muswell Hill around 1600.

Hope I spotted somebody from here. Hello to you if I did.

    Bob.
