If ferrari are prepared to have Alonso as the #1 driver and worship him ,demote whoever else #2 then it maybe a winning move otherwise forget it. I have no problem with that.

But the fact he has'nt spoken to his boss for over a month just because he won't make him #1 driver among other issues makes me wonder if any team that would'nt want to lick his x2 crown would think twice.

    True. He has significant baggage.

I think another issue is simply that by having Alonso on your team you deny other teams from having him. Part of the reason why Ferrari was so successful in the Schumi era - no other team could have Schumi.

Why waste so much time debating this idiot coming to Ferrari. It just isnt going to happen. On top of all the stupid things he says and does..Ferrari would never take him simply because the 2nd driver would have to be someone form the back of the pack that isnt that good which means both Kimi and Massa would have to leave other wise the whinning and backstabbing would continue only now in the Ferrari paddock. I for one dont want to see this and Ferrari sure as hell knows that it would happen. So save your keystrokes for 11 days from now when Ferrari kicks azz overseas.
PS why would you want to deny another team having this fool. Look how the virous spread at McCheaters.

You got it all wrong again, pal.
I have nothing against debate, sharing of opinion, view points or commenting on the races.
Yes I would admit on the record I just can not stand Alonshole, but this is irrelevant to my post.
Now read very very carefully and couple of times over so maybe you will get it.
I have a problem with your trolling attitude.
I have a problem with you calling ferrari fans ON FERRARI chat pedantic sycophantic paeons, which by the way is just your last post, 'cause I don't even want to get into what you have posted before.
I have a problem with you coming across like you just oppose anything that is said in Ferrari favor which just makes me question what are you even doing here.
I have a problem with you looking for even the slightest opportunity to trash MS, who by the way has achieved more in the sport than all the McLaren drivers of the last decade put together (with utmost respect to Senna ) and you can even throw Alonshole's achievements in Renault in the mix too.
Being always against censorship in general, the last thing I would like to see is censoring opinions. Malicious attitude and conduct however is a totally different story.
OH did I mention that the biggest problem I have with you is your habit of twisting peoples words.
Again (because you may have forgotten the first 3 lines of my post already) please read a couple of times my post before you reply.
    AHHHH, hold on. Scratch that.
PLEASE DON'T REPLY TO MY POST.

Anything negative Hamilton has done should be blamed on Bernie. LH is just a stooge.

I would feel more comfortable if it is rephrased just a little bit.
Anything that LH has done AND GOT AWAY WITH should be blamed on Bernie.

    i think this is true.
however i also think that driving for Ferrari is seen by many as a reward, and they dont want to see him get any such rewards.

i can see if he ever did come to SF it could be a good thing for the team, but a very unpopular move with the fans.

Just like signing MS was all those years ago. I still remember the fans upset that Ferrari had dump Alesi and Berger just as the team was showing signs of life, myself included.

    agreed.
although MS wasnt quite as hated worldwide as FA is.

thing is Ferrari may lose F1 fans for a short while of they employ FA, but if people think it will affect the company as a whole then theyre sorely mistake - besides FA would bring fans with him.

personally i wouldnt want to see him driving for the scuderia, but i wouldnt bet against it happening some time.
id just support the other driver and the team as a whole not him individually.

Maybe the BMW, they have been pretty good this year and with one of them driving it, who knows, it's definitely not just the car, try puting Yamamoto in a Ferrari or Luizzi and see if they are on the podium... I doubt it... But look at Button and Barachello, both top drivers last year and this year, in a bad car, they suck...

I also find it odd that for the last few years, on Mclaren, Raikkonen was really quick but the car was unreliable and it cost him many pociums, wins and maybe a championship, but this year, not one breakdown besides a punctured tire, I wonder why it's so reliable this year and even the bulletproof Ferraris are breakind this year....

Fernando going back to Renault would be a mistake IMO, the car is terrible this year and how could it get that much better next year....

I think it would be actually good for the sport if he really is "all that". Then he can maybe bring 0.6 seconds a lap for the BMW team and then we may finally see a three way fight for the title.
If the Hamster stays at McCheaters he'll no doubt have the #1 status. Alonshole would most likely also get it no matter if he goes to renault or BMW. And I think that our boys are plenty capable of obtaining the title with a bit more reliable car.
If I had to chose (other than Ferrari) I would root for BMW over any other team, especially Renault. I don't have anything against them, but just somehow I don't feel comfortable looking at a company building taxi cabs for eastern european countries receiving trophies on the F1 podium. LOL
OK OK before I get flamed-it's just a joke! (the part about them building the taxi cabs is true though)
Lately watching F1 races has become really boring. I don't find it attractive watching "funeral possessions" no matter if it is Ferrari leading or McCheaters or anyone else for that matter. It is time for some other teams to step up to the plate and some drivers with balls to come forward.
IMHO the sport is in desperate need of some oldschool talents and major regulations overhaul.

He did not say this. If you analyze the phrase carefully you'll see it has a deeper meaning. Paeon is not a misspelling of peon...

I have been supporting the Ferrari F1 team for longer than you have been alive. Don't lecture me on being a Ferrari fan, I have forgotten more about what it means to be a Ferrari fan that you clearly will ever know. All I need to do is walk into my garage to know how much of a Ferrari enthusiast I am.

Schumacher is not Ferrari. This has been discussed ad nauseum. Do some research for a change.

I wish a lot more FChatters would use the ignore function. It really prevents some of the mud slinging on here.

Sadly as a mod I can't afford the luxury of it. <sigh>
