From 1917 to 1925 (I think) they only produced black T's. In 1926 - 1927 they introduced colors again to compete with Chevy, plus they had color paint that would dry as fast as the black.

 

Still building myself up to a 355 or F430... can't decide yet.

Heres my 3rd car, couldn't ask for a better daily driver.

The Bertram 31 next to your boat is a classic. Amazing these boats are still around worldwide. Many get repowered with modern diesels and will sell for 2-3X original price.

That Bertram berthed next to my Phantom is very nice and in a good condition......she's a great fishing boat.

Thats is a VERY nice M3 i love it, those rims and the tinted windows look crazy..

My guess would be the Carbon Black from BMW. It's the nicest colour on the M3 (well aside from the rare Estoril Blue ). This Carbon black looks dark blue under the light and black most other times.

Haha wow i didnt think my car would get such praise on a FERRARI site! I would think its considered as an economical grocery getter to you guys.

It's actually Jet black, not carbon. I had my previous sportbike painted in carbon and it was too blue for me.

The wheels are 20"x9" and 20"x10" Asanti 3 peice forged chrome wheels. I'm thinking about getting them powder coated matte gold and keep the lips chrome. Full chrome is too flashy or me...

Your right, F430 is nice, but since i was a wee boy, I've been drooling over the 355 in yellow with tan leather. But the fun thing about these toys is, you dont have to get all wrapped up in which is better and more practical. Its all an emotional and personal choice. Im not in the position to buy either right now so im just here window shopping!

My advice: Black is a perfectionists worst nightmare. Only get black is you have a detailer on your staff, or if you just dont care about the condition of your paint!

I love black.....I think it's a perfect color for certain cars......but at the same time, I hate it. I cannot own a black car......it will just drive me crazy trying to keep the paint in a perfect condition.

It used to drive me crazy. Now i just lower my standards, or I'd have to spend a rediculous amount in detailing bills.

Hmm Im not 100% sure. I think so... Unfornutately most asanti wheels are the big heavy chrome Escalade bling wheels and i know those and made in the usa. But i have the forged line, and i think they are made in a different place. Could be worng though.

Red is the best for sure. Nearly gives the depth of black, but hides swirls and scratches much better.

 

Not many........but now I am into metallic greys and silvers........they are a bit more resistant to minor imperfections.
