    Want to hear my prediction:

Hardtop: an hairdresser's car in automatic? Which one's the gelding?

Seriously, Dave, thanks a ton for the hospitality. It was great to see your place and a great, great time. Thanks a lot.

    Dave,
A great party that just keeps getting better. Thank you for hosting such a nice gathering. We had it all--fantastic cars, good food, a bunch of the nicest people I've met in a long time, and your house and its beautiful setting. Thank you for all of the work, preparation and time spent--it didn't just happen!

So far, just "automatic" mode. We'll graduate to paddles when she feels more comfortable. guess the next step after that is her F1 Superlicense. :D

Dave, looks like that was a great gathering! Sorry I wasn't able to make it.

Having a great time with my 308GTBi, by the way. Still loving those Hyper-Flows.

By the way, how's your own 308? I'm sure others would be interested to hear what you've done with it.

    Bradley,
Glad to hear your is behaving and you are enjoying it.
AC was correct, we were enjoying the FFFT07 with yet another 77 GTB (Red / Ivory) I came across and bought. I figured the event would be a great proving run for the new car now that the work on it is done. Now with a small list of fix it items I can find a new home for that car and get back to building the White 77GTB. We sure enjoyed being on the fall tour this year and the car ran wonderfully through out the entire event. The wiper motor decided to take a break in operation at a rather poor time but with that being the worst of it I cant complain.

Yesterday I found a buildable core engine for the white car so its time for the Red GTB to go to a new home. Anyone looking for a very nice, sorted out and serviced Carbed 77GTB?

So, where are the pictures from the tour? Even though I didn't go this year (next year, I promise!), I did take a minute to go check out the cars at the Glenwood caverns. Very nice assortment - 308 GT4 to 599 GTB, and just about everything in between. I'd share my pictures, but they're from my cell phone. Surely, someone will show us what we missed!

Nice pics Ron, thanks for sharing! Love the local 599; the owner cracks me up. Did you take your little blue French-mobile on the Grand this year?

Hello John, I didn't drive my little blue French car but a larger blue French car. I once again had the good fortune to be asked by Richard Proctor to co-drive the Grand with him. He brought his 1936 Delahaye 135S comp over from the UK. It's a great car built for the 1936 Le Mans (canceled) but later driven in the MM and many other road races including the 1952 Monaco GP - the only year sports cars were allowed. We had a blast. For me, the best Grand yet.

As we have discussed, we all love the cars themselves but what really sets them apart is the individual story behind each one. That's why I loved going to Mike's place to look and listen.
