Just got back from the ICF... great show! Great people.

I enjoyed the reception last night at the Gaylord and thoroughly enjoyed the show today. Lot's of cool cars... & the heat made it necessary for me to run to the drink boat about once per hour to cool down! :) (Free Beer) Whoever coordinated that? Brilliant!

Aaron, contrat's on winning in our class... you deserve it man. Don, I did not run into you, but congrat's on the win! Tillman, go for it on the airpark/flying! And to all the others I ran into last night and today, great to see you. Linda and I had a really good time. It was my first ICF show, but definitely not my last. If I sound like I'm gushing a bit, it's just that the more time I spend around the Ferrari community, the more I love it. I had total strangers coming up to me as if we were brothers... just because we share in the common interest.

Flying as a private pilot is/was my passion prior to buying the F-car. And aviation also shares a very tightly knit community... but, as much as I had to admit it, it's starting to take back seat to my Ferrari activities.

Of course... thanks to all that organized the event and volunteered their time. The effort put forth is appreciated.

By the way... who was the photagrapher for the event? I noticed that he used a picture of my car to promote his photography business at the show. (At the registration booth) I'm not looking for royalties, but a free copy of the shot of my car under the wispering winds of the fair oak tree would be nice. :D

Hey, I really enjoyed it as well. It was definitely worth the 4-hour drive up from Houston!
Turnout was better than I expected.

Good to meet you, Tillman, Tim and Aaron. Great cars! Congrats to Aaron for winning our class. Beautiful 308!

Heading home in the morning---another 4-hour slog south! :) My only complaint is the lovely engine note, which becomes a little tiresome after 4 hours!
At least my A/C is cooling nicely!

I had a great time too myself, quite a few nice cars! I really was surprised to see the Maserati GT there. Its much nicer in person than in video/magazines.

I was kinda upset that there weren't any supercars there, but all the other cars more than made up for everything.

Thanks to everyone who supported and voted for the 275 GTS for "Best of Show ". I was happy the award went to a Ferrari and very surprised the 275 won. Amidst all of the great cars and such a variety of marques it takes a discerning eye to notice and appreciate the 275.

I really enjoyed the show this year, this took the cake as my favorite car show I've been to. There was plenty of seating in the shade this year which was a vast improvement from last year, and the amount of cars was mind boggling. The $10 entry fee was definitely worth it for the entire family to come, and parking in the enthusiast's lot was cool because I got to see many people check out our non-Italian car despite it being a bit dirty.

It was a huge surprise to see Bobby's Maserati Birdcage he created, I had no idea what it even was when I approached it! And the other surprises definitely rate high on my wow-meter. The Citroen with the Maserati engine? Amazing to see.

I arrived in perfect timing to see the GranTurismo being unloaded from the trailer and got a great look up close with it. It looked and sounded perfect; thank you again to the driver for giving me a rev! The Miura? Well let's just say I once again had trouble not drooling all over it which the people from Texas Driver magazine can attest to! :D

Greg328-- thanks for letting me sit in your car. You made it all that much more enticing for me to buy a 308 GTB. It was even more enticing since 1977 is the year I believe I like the most.

My favorite car at the show was difficult to decide! But I believe it was the Maserati Birdcage, with about 5 other cars close behind.

I'll post my pictures when I get an opportunity to upload them.

The car is awesome! As soon as I saw it, I turned to my wife and told her it would win in its class, if not the Best of Show. I think we took about 5 pictures of it.

As my wife and I were loading up to leave, I heard a growl and turned my attention to the Park Road. Black 599 headed out of the park.. I didn't see it in the show..

Beautiful car, wish I had seen it stationary..

It wasn't in the show... I almost missed it... it was parked outside, behind one of the tents.

Beautiful indeed... I wish I had heard it start up though...

I didn't see Frances in the event... but I saw her car on the way out... and so I pulled up behind her for side-by-side pics... (I've been wanting to get this pic for a while)...
