Someone on Beyond says they spotted a McLaren F1, anybody here see it? Wasn't aware that there was one here in Calgary. Mike
While it's possible (I've heard several rumours... one says that it's stored in an underground parking lot on some turntable thing), you must remember that half of the people on Beyond aren't the most intelligent people in the world when it comes to spotting anything other than tuner cars. I (along with Sheldon and rmk; we're all members there) tend to correct a lot of people there for their incorrect spottings. I'm not bashing Beyond, but it's the truth.
That's kind of what I figured, that's why I figured I was better off asking here. Would be cool to see if it is true. Mike
Quoted for the truth I highly doubt that he spotted a McLaren. Most likely mistaken for another supercar. Fyi, I heard the underground F1 story from an owner/member on here. We definitely need pics of that one
who has the orange LP with the black and orange rims? was parked downtown last night. i was biking past last night and saw some tourists sitting on your hood trying to get some pics. i told them to get the hell off it. its a gorgeous car!
He's not on the board, I don't think. But it's a hell of a car. Corsa 360 Spider on 29th Ave today... in the rain. Another (OLD) F-car parked on 17th ave by the Rogers Video/Newspaper shop/coffee shop. I didn't see what it was exactly, so it might not have been one. But it looked like it.
I saw an even worse one (in my opinion). It was at the Spring Tour '07 gathering on Stephen Ave. Some chick crawled onto the Enzo's engine cover for her boyfriend to get a pic. Idiot.
Was the chick Fat? If so I suggest ZR check the cover for cracks. But seriously most people take advantage of seeing nice cars on the streets. I once saw a whole group of kids sitting on the hood of a parked Aston Martin Vanquish to get a good picture. Its just ridiculous how dumb these people are!!
All the exotic's from Cal will be at Blink Supper Club tonight around 7:30!!! Come down and take a look at all the exotics, there should be alot.
