Well... at least the modeler spell Ferrari correctly… and oh by the way… This is not even true… Rednecks can’t afford even the most trashed Ferrari, of course this would mean that they would have to sell their mobile home and everything they own just to purchased the lug nuts!

com'on guys- lighten up a bit....the "duck tape" on the seats is a nice touch...my only complaint is not enough little bitty beer cans.

Need to get off that high (black) horse. A good bass boat can run a LOT more than an entry level Fcar, and most F250s on the road cost enough to buy a Mondial or 308GTSi.

I think the duct tape is hilarious. I've had my share of cars with duct tape upholstery :)

It's missing dents, cracked windshield, more rust, some fire damage, etc. I kind of like the modelers attempt, kind of funny in a way. The cinder blocks are a nice touch.

shouldn't it be a Pontiac fiero conversion with bid body gaps? wouldn't that be the "redneck" Ferrari? :D

Isn't it dangerous to make fun of rednecks in Tenessee?

Ironicly, no. The rednecks here seem to take pride in being one, and if you tell a redneck joke to one of them, they'll respond with ten more.

I like models like these, but a different car, like a worn VW Bug or something around there.

ROTFLMAO! I just found this thread!

I am dying, laughing.......mine ARE a little tatty around the edges maybe but no where near THAT far gone.

Actually it was the opposite, after a bad crash I had to hang a new (used) RED door on yellow #22127.....I thought it came out pretty well, also no early GTB doors were available so we had to field modify an "S" version, one of JRVs last projects on my car...I shot a spray can paint job on it as I picked it up late for a party.

My paint guy redid it later on........ALL mine are redneck Ferraris, listen to the stereo......

I think if the redneck parted it out he'd have enough cash to move into a double wide! :D

I've seen a couple of "pimped" real Ferraris here in Dallas...the redneck model is a step in the right direction but lacks a gunrack.

Hey, that's just as it should be (too big):) I think this modeler is very much in touch with reality, in an honest and playful way.
