Wish that exist in Mexico...

 

Before we had the list in the States, I made judicious use of my answering machine. Automated calls which are not answered in two rings will self-disconnect and not show up at all. Others which I do not recognize and which do not leave a call back number and/or state the purpose of the call are simply deleted later. I have not been bothered by a solicitor in several years.

has anyone else still gotten calls (granted a very small portion of what we used to get at home) even after being on the list? i know we did.

 

What's the reason for renewing? I thought that once you do it it lasts for a good long time? Unsolicited calls are almost non-existent for me. Just scream at them that you're on the DNCL and they'll quit. Don't forget your cell phones too

 

is there a canadian version? i even get those bastards calling me on my cell now that i started using it a lot more for business...

 

My take is that it is for five years. Check www.donotcall.gov. Be sure to add your cell phone to the list. I think cell calls are illegal but, why chance it. Don't scream. Eliminate them.
