    hi,
i hope im not posting in the wrong place... i am a complete ferrari/formula one illiterate but my bf is completely nuts abt ferraris. i understand theres loads of fake/imitation ferrari merchandise around and i can never tell an original apart from the fakes. im plannin to do a big framed embroidery of the logo for my bf for his bday, so can anyone pleeeeease tell me how to tell if its an original logo? i apologise for the really stupid question but i'd really really appreciate anyone who can help me out here...
if possible can someone post a pic of the original logo/ a link to one?
im attachin one i found on the web... is this one alright? are the little 'gaps' in the horse supposed to be yellow or white??
i apologise again if my questions sound really stupid...
    thanks in advance

    Hello,
I suggest that you fill out your profile as a start; and you may get a better response.

That's the proper one. The "gaps" are yellow.

Or another gay response like yours.....

prettynonsense: Yes, that's the correct logo. If you have time, post a pic of the gift when it's finished. Maybe our girlfriends will follow suit!

Here's another good one. Front badge.

This picture contradicts the one she posted, this has white "gaps" while hers were yellow.

This one is the actual Ferrari Logo... the shield is for the racing team. the shield was the original logo used by Ferrari back in the 30's

I've never understood why some people feel the need to suggest or tell someone to fill out their profile. In this case it has nothing to do with the question being asked. If someone asks "Do you think I will have overheating problems because of the climate I live in?" then yes, it would be useful if they had some info. in their profile as to where they live. That is, of course, assuming they did not mention their location in the post.

If people are worried that someone might not be who they say they are or they might not be "legitimate" could they not also put false information in their profile? Why does anybody need to know details about this person in order to answer their question??

Gaps in the horse should be either chrome on the actual car or white on a sticker/ sign/ picture.

Yes, chrome on the bonnet (hood?) badge, white on the wing (fender) shield.
