On ebay there is a seller selling these fully operational for a reasonable price I thought.
He is from the U.S., and saw it several times.

Youre 512S is gonna be really nice!
Do you own more of these built kits? Would love to see them!

Dont really want to put in electric engines in this boat, a model like this does not warrent such a thing. It has to be a scale model of the real engine, and set into the boat IMO. They can be bought from here. http://www.scaleautoworks.com/Arnotranskit.htm A project for 2008 maybe;)
I bought one of the first boats when they first came out years ago, and it was expensive at the time, as any first edition models are.
Yes i have many 1/12 models as well as 1/8 Pochers, and not for getting my 1/1 girls:) Looking forward to finishing the 512 so i can start on the 312PB 1/12.

Guiloy from Spain also manufactured the Mythos in 1:18 scale...

not the highest quality from what I have seen

I have both the 1:18 Mythos from Guiloy and Revell. I have to say that they both have plenty of shortcomings, but I think that the Guiloy is definitely the better model overall.

Agree 100%. I've exchanged my Revell for a Guiloy.

As for those 1/10 and 1/12 models: simply amazing...

And regarding the Arno boat: by chance I met someone recently who restores classic boats and he was also building a scale model of the Ferrari boat but eventually wants to build a full scale replica. I'm planning on visiting him soon so maybe I'll see his model.

Got a Carlo Brianza Daytona from a fellow F-chatter.
It was severly damnaged. All windowpillars were broken, roof came off, all windows were delivered as parts, and a few loose things were in a bag.
Fortunately, everything was there, except 1 rearlight.
Some restoring was done last week, and its presentable again..

Thanks Emanuel! Hope you had a good evening in Amsterdam.

    Jordan,
    This is probably a conti!
    Michele Conti has made 1:32 ferrari's. Several F1's 156-85 , F1-1988, and I think he also made a 288GTO and an F40.
These models were very rough, detail is not very good, but still they are made by Conti!

I owned both F1's in 1:32, which I bought as a kit at Milano 43 in Italy in 1988 (sold them a few yers ago). I know the current owner has them up for sale again, so if you are interested let me know. (the tron Uovo and 348TS are also in my trade/sales program).

    I'll look for some pictures.

    Great find!

Jordan, have you unscrewed it from its base yet?
You should see the manufacturer there.

Hans - I did unscrew it upon receipt. The underside is also "signed" by Conti. It says No. 5, Scala 1/32, Made it Italy. I think it a Conti. Please send me a PM about the models that are for sale.
I also have a 1/43 white metal Lancia Stratos #10 that says: "conti models (with a picture of a F1 racecar as the company logo) N 2 1975 1:43 MADE IN ITALY' on the underside. I sense that he also made this model. What do you think? Jordan

    Michele Conti for sure!
He was the very very best modelbuilder there was.
    www.conticollector.com

Maurizio, his son went in his fathers footsteps and in the familytradition, he makes impressive 1:10 models (like the Steve mc. Queen Lusso).

The fact they also did smaller models is not very known. They didn't make to many either.

You can try Maurizio for more information on www.contimodels.com
Like most companies and builders, just contact them, and they will answer your questions

    pm sent.
