????? Have you heard and felt a 599 shift at 7,000rpm? It is no joke.

I have just driven over 3,000kms in 4 days with a group of 20 other F friends and I can tell you that lots of people who are not looking for a fashion accessory buy the cars. 9 of our group including me drove 599's. If you don't think a 599 on the open road at speed is iconic I feel sorry for you

Just because the performace & pure sex appeal of Ferrari are almost unreal.... doesn't mean "cartoon". More like "legendary".

Its not about living some iconic fantasy, it is about hard charging performance. I struggle to believe that a 20 ferrari convoy is a hard charging drive, most probably a rolling car show.

But then I could be wrong. I have no fault with the cars theyre great, only the reason most people these days buy them and the use they are put to. You can hardly call 90+% of new f car owners spotsman drivers. It is something most owners want because it is an affirmation of making it, another bauble on the road to sucess. Its the cars In feel sorry for. But then volume pays for R&D. Sadly the "image" becomes so tarnished especialy with all the ferrari acessories sheilds red tan etc that driving a ferrari especialy a red one is a negative statement.

You can't blame him for saying that. It is true. You think all those rappers that talk about Ferraris buy them because they are great sports cars?

    Hell no.

It's merely a status symbol and that's, unfortunately, what it has become. Why do you think kids and adults alike go crazy over the name 'Ferrari'? It's certainly not because they are great sports cars. That's for sure.

    Sad but true :(

I'd give that title to Corvettes or 911s instead.

You are so wrong. The word convoy is yours not mine. leave from the same place and end up in the same place but how you get there is up to you
