Americana Manhasset Concours

Last year I was able to drive up there on the day of, and enter the show... I won too LOL, why is it different this year?

 

September 17 is the formal cut-off for car registration. This year, all car owners wishing to enter their cars in the show should pre-register. The registration form is attached to a previous post by AmericanaManhaset.

What are the judging categories going to be?

 

I was just wondering who's coming out to this so I know who to look for; I had a good time at last year's show, might stop by in the morning for a bit.

9am to 10:30am: In-store Breakfasts for Concours d’Elegance Participants

9:30am to 1:30pm: Judging of Cars

2pm: Awards Presentation

I just saw the picture of a YELLOW MCLAREN F1!!! Beautiful car. One question guys: Is it open to the public? If so, how much is the ticket?

No its several different marques not just Ferraris.

Yup as stated above no charge at all! The Yellow McLaren F1 was there last year with a red F50. I believe that same F1 now has some LM stuff on it and is white with black wheels. Hoping to see both again this year.

 

Its grown to include Bentley, Porsche, Lambo, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Rolls Royce. Every year is a bit different. But yeah, its been a Ferrari event first so I guess I get to see the Prugna 328 ?

 

If its been painted I wonder how they handled the Michael Schumacher signature on the door jamb?

 

Handled it? They painted over it... seriously!

 

What time is this event???? I should be in the area early in the morning.

I'll be there, how much is it to register a car tough? I heard it was quite expensive. Just curious as to the actual figure. Thanks.
