BTW: if you can include approximate street addresses of the meeting points in the instructions that would help those of us with nav units. That way we can easily plug them in ahead of time and if we get lost the nav unit can direct us to the next location (probably by a different route, but at least we'll get there).

First I want to say thank you to Jon for taking the time to put this event together. I know it takes a lot of time and effort to put a large drive together and it is appreciated. However, I was pretty disappointed with the way things were going today so much that Greg and I decided to split before lunch.

Yeah it was too bad that we ended up lost but the day wasn't a total loss. Lunch was great! We then hung out for a bit at the park and organized our own group for the ride to the Creamery. What a blast that turned into. Sorry you didn't stay Steve. I'm sure some pics will follow

Nice run Jon, I had fun. I won't know how the footage turned out until a day or two from now, although I did wake up long enough from my nap to get on here and post so who knows. I might have something up sooner ;)

Thanks everyone for coming out. I finished the day with a suprise birthday party for
Rcraig put together by his wife Susan and family. We enjoyed his beautiful home and played with Bobs incredible slot car track!!! I really had a good time. My only critique of the event personally was that I didnt plan for more group leaders. We had 59 cars show up and I only planned for 45 so some people were left to there own to find the route. The route was tedious to say the least but it was planned that way. The last Mason/Dixon was in my opinion not "interesting" enough and I guess I went overboard with the route. To those that got seperated I am sorry. My sweep mans phone died so our help line wasnt much help. But all that being said it seems the majority of you had a great time. I can think of a thousand things that would have been less fun than spending the day with a bunch of car enthusiasts on a beautiful day like today. I pledge to do better next year. Thanks also to all of you that donated money, condolences and in one guys case a 1973 Porsche RS fender to Nick to repair his car after the unfortunate misshap. I know the guy personally and he was moved beyond belief. I feel we each have a responsibility to organize an event of some kind during the year so that others can be participants. I look forward to all the events next year and thanks to everyone that puts them together. I know they are tough to do but the participants really appreciate it even if they dont mention their appreciation. What a great opportunity we all have to do this kind of stuff. Let me personally thank Scott my sweeper and impromptu group leader,Bob Craig my regular partner in all things car related,Vince Crognale for being a group leader and over coming morning car problems to be a group leader and Jeff Little who stopped to fix the blue 280Z that broke down on route. Also those who stepped up and volunteered to be self guided so that others would not suffer from any given group being unmanagebly large. See you all again soon. Jon in Delaware

First-class event. Nice meeting you and everyone else, it was a pleasure. The tedious route made it fun; I don't think I lost interest at a single point in the day.

Can't wait for next year, and everything else inbetween.
