Too bad Kimi didn't finish off this fantastic weekend performance so far with another P1.... but I predict he'll have Hamilton by turn 1 ;)

Forza Ferrari - we're doing great in China (the Reds prevail ;))

Well ladies and gentlemen I believe this spells GAME OVER for this season. As much as I hate it the reds lost the season. I know there is still mathematical chance for Kimi, but seriously, what are the chances LH will not finish in the top 5 from pole?

oh anything can happen in this sport, but if LH crashes in the first lap and they stop the race and allow spare cars in the restart all bets are off with that troll Bernie, hasn't happened in years but with LH there could be a comeback, the whole season has smelt of favouritism

What's that reddish additive in DC's fuel ??? Congrats to the unusual suspects, DC, Mark, Button and Rotten !!!!! Three cheers. Nice pole by LH , a unique front four assemblage this race. Phil loose in the post race. Wonder if LH will set mode to cruise in the wet and secure the WDC. That HAS to be the plan.....

    ps nice quali by Tonio.....

You know, I've been saying the whole time that something smells fishy, but my dad called me today from Europe and F1 was brought up. Now, he is a pretty fair guy and he said something pretty disturbing. Maybe the championship is fixed but if it really is then Ferrari got to be in on the scheme. So it got me thinking and looking back there are some really inexplainable things that have happen to the scuderia. If it really is the way my dad sees it-the championship being fixed and all the teams(or at least the top ones) in on the scheme, than it is a really sad times for the racing fans. We would never know either way, but the point is that this season has given way more questions than satisfaction.

After Bernie's comments today that would most likely happen. I really thought Massa would get pole since on the last set of laps before they came in for the soft tires her really looked like he had that car dialed in. But I also suspect that Lewis is running a little light and the Ferraris may be able to stay out longer and put in some hot laps to get through the first round of pit stops ahead of Lewis. I hope Fernando is running a little more fuel. Unless he gets called in and sent back out in traffic like last weekend, he might be able to improve the situation.

I guess I can't stand the thought of nothing but Lewisvision during the off season.

I think that Lewis is just trying to pump the statistics as at this point he can afford it. So what if he looses two spots at the end. In the books at the end it would just say his 6th pole and he still would become WDC. I think it would be perfectly acceptable for him if he does not win the race and just finish in the first 4 which is pretty much inevitable unless Vettel or someone else decides to go on a rampage.

Oh that old chestnut;) Then if he proves himself next year then it will be the year after that will be the real test. Or if he closes one eye and drives without depth perception and does good. Now that will be the real test. LOL!!

I doubt it has anything to do with stats, although I do suspect he's pretty light on fuel. With rain certain for the start of the race, it makes sense to qualify light to ensure pole and limit the chances of a 1st lap crash as much as possible. Even if he ends up finishing 4th behind Kimi, Massa and Alonso, he still takes the WC.

I think the only stat he's trying to pump is the number of points he has that will give him the title. I think he's undoubtedly running light in order to keep the ferraris behind him, which will allow the McLaren TEAM to keep contact during the race. If it rains, as predicted, that makes everything a wild card and really does help FA (who is undoubtedly running heavy in anticipation of rain). In dry conditions, the Ferraris are about .3-.5 sec/lap faster than McLaren, so putting LH on pole makes sense from a race control standpoint.

I know everyone hates the kid (not certain why), but he did his part to execute team strategy. His being on pole benefits Alonso almost as much as him (but still allows him to finish high enough to win the WDC)

If he actually wins this race, then he is the second coming.
