Or the original price of any of the great classics. How about a 250 GTO at $12,500.00 new!

LOL. Youd think he knew if he still owned it: I spoke to him by telephone on Friday the 5th of October and he says he still has it (it may have been for sale in 2005?) and he says its not for sale (I inquired) and he will likely bring it to Cavallino in 2008. I have to assume he was being forthright... but then again Im on the other side of the country.

The First GTO memory i have was around 1985 , i was 5 and a passenger in my dads 512 BBI , going to Albi race track for a Ferrari Day . We were cruising on a b road when suddenly a GTO blasted by us..It tured out to be Uderzo's.

Well, everything is for sale at the right price. That was in the window for the 60th anniversary party at FoSV. The car never looked so clean. And it sure as heck doesn't now as I recently drove it in the rain. And, with any luck, it will be soon be on the track on October 17th. Where Enzo intended his cars to be driven.

I was driving the GTO yesterday and while depressing the clutch I heard a loud bang from the front. I wasn't sure what it was, but it didn't sound good. I looked down and found the pictured spring between my feet. Sure enough, the clutch return spring broke. This is a first for me. In all the miles I've driven in Ferraris, easily over 250,000, I've never had a clutch return spring break. It wasn't a big deal as the hydraulics allowed the clutch pedal to return without the "helper spring" (Ferrari's name for it).
