Yup maintanence is a bit of an issue but since I bought the car through the dealer in Singapore.... we can fly in a qualified Ferrari Mechanic if there is something that needs to be attended to....roads well we have to live with it!! ha,,ha..

Thanks guys really appreciate it! I am quite a tech guy Ive had an 800hp supra which i built and a 400hp 997 C2S, SL55 along with quite a few BMW's and Mercs... but nothing as nice as a Ferrari...The duties are so high in this country it makes it unreasonably expensive......

You're going to love the F430... it's one heck of a "starter" Ferrari!

Drive safe and please post some pictures when you get her.

Yea.... National Garage is an Agent for Hong Seh Motors (singapore) But they don't have any service arrangement locally. They too have to fly in a Ferrari tech from Singapore for servicing of the cars.

It would cost around the same if I got a mech from Malaysia may be a bit cheaper... but since I bought the car from Hong Seh I prefer dealing with them...Hong Seh had a partnership with the K.L dealership but this has recently been terminated.
Hi Tokyo...the car cost me landed on road for about USD.580,000-/

if you are so rich in India with the roads so crappy, built a custom stretch of 400 meteres near your home and drive it/race it there... im serious. If you drive your Ferrari on the Indian roads, pretty soon it will be one painful site to look at...

Actually you will be surprised at some of the nice highways and the number of exotics in India! They have pretty much everything there! I have seen all sorts of Lambo's, Ferrari's, Porsche's and of course too many MB's to mention.

The rich in India are filthy rich. Same in China, I work in China (during the week only) and there is so much exotica there its quite incredible and the Chinese are the not the most experienced people on the streets. In China that is.

I know that there are some fine roads in India but the majority of India's roads are a big headache.

As you said, the rich gap between the poor and the rich is astronomical... one could be bathing in gold, the other could be baking in his own filth... (ok im rambling)

Well what can I say we are getting robbed by our government....Don't ask where all our taxes go. But there are a few decent stretches of roads here that we can use our cars on and the best bit is there is no speeding issue...I have been over 220km/hr on two lane roads with truck traffic, risky stuff. A lot of new 4 lane expressways coming up so that should be fun. Yea there are a lot of exotic's in India now... it's going to be a huge market once people start to spend their money which is in abundance now among big business and realestate magnets. The benefits of over 9% growth!!
