Wait guys this just in from Bernie's office
Raikonen will be penalized with a drive through for closing in on Hamilton, and therefore causing his accident ;)

    So whats the math

    LH 107
    KR 100
    FA 103 ?

What does LH or FA need to place to still beat KR if he gets 1st next race?

How did everyone like the race producer not showing the cars racing to show us Lewis shaking hands with everyone....?

I think he should keep it cool now. No need really to set new records, Just baby it home.
Is this also the second weekend on his engine? I think so.

if KR won and FA was 2nd then LH would still win WDC if he was 3rd.
If FA wins next race then LH needs a 3rd then too and he wins WDC.

100%. He drove off because he had skins on. If the team was being 'managed' properly, he'd be comfortably cruising around right now in fourth and concurrently win the WDC. If I was Norbert, I'd tell Ron enough's enough and immediately make an appointment with the fellow in the wheelchair.
Out 100 million USD, loss of respect from the F1 world, no points for WCC and now this lunacy. Good Lord.

What happened to LH was, IMO, political. RD is even more of an ****** than Alonso. There was NO reason for LH to push so hard. He should have simply let Kimi by. He should also have pitted at least 2 laps earlier. I blame RD as much as LH. I really think this was all politics to placate FA and keep both LH and FA at McLaren next year...

If Kimi wins in Brazil, Lewis needs to finish lower than 5th, Fernando needs to finish lower than 2nd for Kimi to take the championship.

If Fernando wins in Brazil, Lewis needs to finish lower than 2nd for Fernando to take the championship.

It just happened. Everything was going very smoothly for LH before being stuck in the kitty litter. He was pushing and doing just fine. No reason to direct blame. He went off by a wet puddle, by a tire puncture, by... something else and that's that.

If FA wins and LH places 3rd, they would both be on 113 and FA would win the championship because he would have more race wins.

I agree, RD should not have had Lewis run his tires so long. Ferrari and Kimi had nothing to lose so let them push.

It wouldn't have happened if he slowed down, let Kimi by, and pitted 2 laps earlier. Yes, LH made a mistake, but I honestly think RD was involved in letting the mistake be made...

i really dont want to believe that, but it was madness to keep LH out for so long.
theres no way the team wouldnt have seen the tyre was delaminating - it was obvious to anyone watching.

i really dont understand (and i think i posted it at the time) why LH didnt simply let KR go past.
the decision when to pit though had to lie with the team

LH may have been too proud to let KR pass him on track. I guess he wanted to hold off KR until the pit stops.
