I see it in the paper last night, I hadn't seen any tv adverts for it though. Hopefully it will be as good as ever. Better than that Fifth Gear poop anyway
Tonights episode i beleive will pitch the 430 scud against the gt3 rs and the superleggera. Should be a great one. Regards
Its not a head to head comparison. Its more like the Zonda v F430 v Ford GT shoot. You might recognise some roads when you watch the film
OK mate ...sounds good, guessing Route Napoleon? Do hope it's the N24, really love to know how it performs on the road.
Nope, but the dealer i bought my V8 from said that Aston hadnt sold one single road going version, so I'm suprised they are showing the N24 as Hari says. Havent heard any reviews about its performance as a track toy though.. http://www.astonmartin.com/eng/thecars/v8vantage/v8vantagen24 Image Unavailable, Please Login
That does make a difference. Although I would find that more appealing, a bit like the Strad over a standard 360
My Mondial Superleggera (well thats what I now call it) has no aircon/fans/heater and obviously never came with no airbags in the first place. I also removed all the carpets/soundproofing, so it'll be a bit noisy inside.
I agree 5th gear used to be really good, but has really gone down hill. VBH and Tiff dont drive enough, and those other 2, Tom and what's his name are just annoying and squeaky. For instance, who really cares how stable a smart car is if you bolt another one to its roof!
One episode is going to feature a race across London - I read about it in Motorboat and Yachting a couple of months ago. Clarkson in a boat on the Thames, Hamster on a bike, May on public transport and The Stig driving a Mercedes. I agree about 5th gear being poop - I'm looking forward to having some quality motoring based entertainment back on TV.
That sounds excellent. The two worst things on Fifth Gear are That new boring young presenter who is about as much excitement as watching paint dry. And VBH's childish banshee screach!.
5th gear is annoying. Partly because its on so often and mostly about supercars. And no thats not a good thing. Top gear is on very rarely and hasnt even covered the 599 yet!. Another advantage to 5th gear is that when testing new Fezza's they always actualy go to Maranello and thrash the cars on the modena lanes, then on Fiorano. Thats also annoying because TG cant review the brand new Ferraris like 5th G. Like the 430 scud will probably be reviewed next season and 5th gear will probs have it in a few episodes. Anyway thats just my opinion, and on the whole TG is a load more entertaining! Cant wait for the guys to breach me back into the series Regards..
I think that is cos Clarkson fell out with ferrari major time. At a tour round the HQ in Slough the F press guy said they would never let TG use a Ferrari again (not from Maranello anyway). Love him or loath him Clarkson does p**s a few off. I read somewhere that he is personly responsible for the demise of Rover (not in the Sun Rob!).
