A shame to see such a carless and stupid mistake being made on such a car.

A carless mistake? lol, talk about a Freudian slip.

 

My friend was loading up his 365GTB/4 comp Daytona when that happened to us. Thank god there was no damage, the angle we were loading at wasn't that bad. Scared the crap out of me and my friend, we thought the loading planks flew out and hit a car parked behind us!

 

All I can say is if I was the owner of that car My shotgun would be doing the talking. Not my Lawyer.

 

Are they putting gun racks in CGT's these days?

This was obviously a stupid move by the people loading up the car, but it's hardly worth breaking out old Betsy over.

 

I would if I paid 400k for a supercar.

If I bought a Veyron it would be the only one in the world with a shotgun rack in the back like those hilbilies do it.

You put even a little scratch and road rage will have a new meaning to it.

Using boards is pretty normal to reduce the approach angle and the CGT has a very low nose. The planks weren't the problem - but not securing them was.

 

True, although the transporters I've used for my ex P-car and Ferrari all have had long, extendable metal ramps. It seems like someone who could afford a CGT could specify a proper, high-end trailer.

 

I actually don't feel bad if the owner was driving or involved in the manouver. This is pretty obvious. They had it coming for being so careless.

Neither a trailor or a trailer were involved in the Video....it was a "flatbed"

Most flatbed's have a whinch...why was it not being used?

A nice solid 2x12 will support a car, but the problem was that the board was not secured to the bed of the truck....

As far as I'm concerned.... "stupid is as stupid does".

The morons who couldn't anticipate this type of outcome don't either deserve the CGT, or the job of driving the truck...works both ways!
