My two machines have the covering on the consoles which has gone gooey and sticky. Anyone have any advice on this thanks
This is a common problem on the 348 and 355, and may be the same issue on yours - do a search in the 348/355 forum on "sticky" and you'll have a lot of reading. One bit of advice is to never clean it with anything other than a damp (with plain water) cloth.
I took mine out, including the door handles and the instrument cluster housing, cleaned them up and then had a friend of mine in the paint and body business paint them in a high impact flat black. They look good and wear very well. Much better than the original nasty covering that Ferrari applied.
