WOW a Vantage Le Mans !
Not for nothing, I dont know if you guys are just as into the older cars but, did anyone who hung around for the awards really believe best of show deserved it??? The Concours events Ive been to/participated in were much more demanding...I'm not knocking ANY of the cars just the criteria...what were the criteria anyway???
Let's see. The most original SF Ferrari 1935 Alfa Romeo 8C-35 existent? A car driven by among others by Tazio Nuvolari? A car that the bidding on would start at 12 Million $? I do.
Did your car win anything? Was going to stop by and say hi; but everytime I passed you were speaking with someone, you seem quite popular
Hi Yes. It was a great show with a lot of wonderful cars. Great shows remind one just how many cool cars there are. My Favorite was the Le Mans winning Speed 8 Bentley. That was a very serious bit of kit. Next time please say Hello. Best
Museum? It's owner feels it belongs on a racecourse where he uses it regularly. It's totally original, previously complained by Enzo Ferrari, driven by some of the most famous drivers there ever were, still regularly raced in many events including The Ferrari Shell Historic Challange. I'm not sure it gets better than that. Interestingly Race Cars have won Best in Show at this Concours since it began. My Ferrari P 3/4, an Aston DRB, and Peter's Alfa 8C 35. Works for me...

Hey guys! Nice show this weekend!! Joey.......always good to see you...... Barry asked me to post these few photos for him.......
That black 1963 Lusso did it for me (prior to this year's show, the oldest Ferrari I considered cool was the 288 GTO.) What was up with that jerk who was revving his p.o.s. smokestack just as the awards started?...
Was that Sal with the CGT? My co-worker was there on the Red carpet, his dad is the Mechanic for Jim. Pissed I missed it he kept calling me to wake up
I believe so from the plate, I met him at Ferrari Of Long Island, we wound up talking about my GT2 and his CGT hah, cool guy!
