    Hi,

I did not see anyone respond to your post. Did you get a chance to see a picture of a 348 yet in 1/12 scale? I bought one a few months back from a SE Asian seller. The model is in resin and hand made. The quality and paint is very nice. Let me know if you want to see some pictures. I'll need to take some pictures and then will post for you.

They sold the resin 1:12 348, which is probably sold out now.

It was made by modelworkshop of Japan (MWS).

It wasn't cheap, but very good!

I bought a 1:12 F50GT, which is very good quality.
At the moment APM is selling another one on ebay for a very fair price! (ferrari F50GT 1:12)
Very reliable seller and fast delivery. (be aware for customsfee when buying).
    Will post pics later..

Its the version dutch importer Kroymans raced with around 1990.

I bought the 1/12 348s of a German collector a few months ago. A lot of money though but a very nice curbside. If you can get one then do although they will be more than they cost new due to owners putting on a premium %.
Also a very nice moden 1/12 ferrari model is the 612 which i bought from Maranello.

    Roy,
I once (22 years ago) started with the same hotwheels and BBurago ferrari's as most of us.
In a few months I had quite a few, and realised that if I continued I would end up with hundreds of models produced in thousands(and a big cashflow problem).
    Then I made 3 decisions.
    1. I chose a theme (no F1, only GT, prototype and streetcars)
    2. I bought 3-4 more expensive and exclusive models a year. (bbr, Heco, MR mainly 1:43)
    3. Be patient if the price is to high, just wait, patience has brought me expensive items for less money.(waited 10 years to buy the first Brianza)

Main purpose: I want my collection to be special, and the budget in hand
I want the items tht you will hardly see in any other collection (except the kyosho's I couldn't resist for $225 each).

After 20 years I collected a very special collection of 150 very rare and exclusive models, and I only buy really special(and expensive items).
