I took an F50 from Texas to Florida once. Perfectly comfy*.

    (* Granted, I consider a F40 LM a "cushy" ride.)

You would have to not have a brain if you had the means to pick it up quick then flip it, then you can buy my RUF GT2 at a bargain price ;)

First of all.......the people here within these forums are not strangers. I know many of them for I have had exotics for a while, and truly feel comfortable asking them for their opinion.

Second, yes....I know it is a good deal. But even though it is a good deal it is still 300K out ofmy pocket for a car I do not specifically find aestheticaly (did I spell it right) attractive. For that money I could buy a diablo vt roadster and still have 3/4 of a payment for a FGT, both of which I love terribly.

Third....I do not not historically buy cars forinvestment purposes. I have had many exotics mind you, and I drive each andevery one of them the way they should be driven. I enjoy them and do not put them in a bubble the way many people do. So when I have a question about the appreciatory value of a car (since this would be my first ferrari after my deals for an f50 fell through) i don't see why you have a problem with me asking people that I know and trust.

If you smell something.....take a shower. You obviously do not know who I am so lets keep it like that. To everyone else.....thanks..Love you all, as always, for all that you do.

I know Joey. I agree with you. That's why I am a little hesitant b/c if I can't unload the thing in a reasonable period of time (shouldn't be a problem though) then it defeats theentire purpose.

By the way I i wear the doors up shirt all the time at the gym.. Everyone loves it.

what is the sticker on the car? is it a 6 speed? my 599 msrp was at $339K and the prices have gone up 20% on all new cars coming in. it's a no brainer if you can get it at $295K unless there is a story behind the car they are not telling you.

    Do it. Sell it.

It won't drop down for a couple years at least, and you have enough leeway that you can even sell for a DISCOUNT just to get rid of it quicker and make your buck.

Did F430s drop down? Nope, not even '05s (unfortunately)

The longer you wait, the more chance you run of someone else offering more on the car ;)

And hey, you never know, you might even like it and just wanna keep it.

the key to flipping a ferrari is to flip it before anything breaks. So basically you have about 7 feet from the dealership, if you are lucky, before something falls apart. Its an art form that very few have perfected.

Agreed. I'm trying to figure out if there's some hidden question here I'm missing.

Someone's offering to give you $400,000+ if you give him a check for $300,000. What's the issue you're struggling with?

I never said someone is offering to give me $400k for the car. I know I could get more than the asking price...but created this thread b/c I have never flipped a car before (like I said I buy my cars to drive and enjoy....not flip.. I am sure however, that I could get that amount very quickly.....but should I hold it for longer? That is really my concern.

The story behind the car is really no story. The sticker is approx 325K with approx 2800 miles on it. The guy who has it bought it above sticker.....but needs cash very badly. I have had it checked front and back by my mechanic and car is perfect. Offered to pay him sticker for the car (I would never pay above).......but the price offered to me was 295K. I didn't ask again :)

What bothers me is that rather than offer me some assistance, many of you are just nasty. And I don't get that. If you can't or just don't want to assist me.....hey....that's fine. But to be arrogant publicly....I just don't get it. But again, to those of you I know (and know me.......thanks......I am buying it :)

Your right i dont know you. Your profile is completly blank, your a new poster with maybe 3 posts outside of this thread. So if your being honest i apologize sincerely. Reality is though many people with similiar stories are kids goofing on the net.

Lastly the assistance you want seems to be rather obvious.
