Possible Super Bowl matchup this week. Romo does well with rebounding after bad games. Belicheck won't have any film to cheat off of. Should be a very very interesting game. I've got the Cowboys by at least 10 though.

Cowboys by 10?!?!?!?! Are you on crack. Your boy, Romo, threw 5 picks this week and BARELY beat the pathetic Bills. He won't know what's coming with the Pats defense.

I hope so, but I have a bad feeling. I don't think the Boyz are ready for that level yet.

Cowboy's D doesn't look good in the Corner position and Pats will capitalize on that. Cowboy's D wasn't tackling well last game either.

And if they pick Romo 5 times, you can count on 5TD's unlike the Bill's sorry efforts.

I think the Pats will take this one by 2 TD's.

    +3.

The Cowboys are a lot easier to like, but the Pats, well, they just know how to get the job done. And HOW. Most points per game in the league atm.

Brady is so fun to watch.

I wish I had an offensive line like that so I could drip a coffee, read a book, and get a model pregnant before I had to look through my progressions and toss the ball to Randy Moss for an easy score.

    ;)

Just out of curiosity, why is this? I am obviously biased being from New England and being a Pats season ticket holder, but why would the Cowboys be easier to like? I get the whole idea that the longer you are on top the more people want to see you stumble. But, when you compare these two teams, you have the Cowboys that have won many championships and had many great teams over the years, but have also had more than their share of degenerates and negative off-field stories. Compared to the Pats who were the laughingstock of the league for almost 40 years and have only started to win in the last 6 years - and have done it without egos or questionable characters. I would think this would be a team more people would be rooting for. (again, I am biased)

eh...ill say cowboys win by no more than a TD. I can see them taking this, plus they have an advantage at home and i bet they're waiting for a game to prove they are serious contenders.

The Cowboys are severly overated, their opponents are a combined 6-14 with the Giants as the only team above .500 currently. Two teams (Miami and St. Louis) have yet to win a game. Additionally they were lucky to win two of these games, they would have probably lost to the Giants if Manning hadn't gotten hurt at the end and if the Bills offense could do anything they would have gotten plastered on Monday night. The Cowboys are gonna get leveled by the Patriots and then continue on to potentially lose 3 or 4 of their next 6 placing them at probably 7-5. Yes, they'll probably make the playoffs because the NFC is so weak but when compared to a team like the Patriots that is dominant on every level they have no chance.

I can hardly wait for the game!! I've got $50 riding on the Cowboys, against my friend who is a huge Pats fan. It's all in good fun :D and I've taken his money several times this year when the Yankees beat the Red Sox :D .

    GO COWBOYS!!!!

The Cowboys don't cheat, their coach doesn't look like he's homeless, and they are America's team. Not to mention they are the most successful/greatest football team in existence and have been for about 40 years.

The cheating scandal for one doesn't help. Belichik is not very likeable, most writers agree to that. I'd want him coaching my team, but I wouldn't put him in charge of party favors.
Romo seems more approachable than Brady also. Always has that goofy grin on, and how can you not LOVE his attitude? Botched hold to take them deep in the playoffs, 6 turnovers in one game, and what does he say? "If some lousy plays in a football game are the worst moments in my life, then I've lived a really good life." (or something similar, don't have exact quote)

The campaign to make the Cowboys America's team still lingers. People just plain want to see the Cowboys win, a storied franchise with great names and history.

I'm not downing the Pats: great program, the best to watch if your a pure fan of the game, and I love watching Tom Brady, who(imho) is the best QB on the field atm.
But, as a humble fan of the game and not biased towards either team, it seems like Dallas is easier to like. Sorry that's not what you want to hear Boston, but that's the way it reads and sounds in the sporting world.

Romo does seem like a good guy, but he's only been famous for about 10 minutes. I sincerely hope that he maintains his humble attitude, but it's way too early for me to make that call. Brady has been a class act for a long, long time.

I've felt for a very long time that Tom Brady is one of the most overrated players in the NFL and that he owes much of his success to Belicheck.

Yes, he owes his success to Belicheck (Belicheck could have just as easily put in David Huard when Bledsoe was out), but why do you say he's overrated? 3 Superbowl wins in 4 years is something that most QB's ever to live can't make a claim to.

You got me, but that doesn't make the things I said untrue. Honestly I still see the Cowboys as one of the better teams in the NFC, not necessarily home field but they'll deffinately be in the playoffs (along with the Redskins and possibly Giants). That said, I think they'll fall off some, as soon as the start losing (this sunday) TO will start whining and the team will slowly disintigrate, it'll be up to Phillips to hold them together or let them collapse.

Belicheck makes him look better than he is. A lot of his throwing mechanics aren't nearly as good as Peyton, and he can't seem to make those thread the needle throws like other QBs can. Plus he gets so much time in the pocket to allow him to wait until his receivers get open and make the easy throw. You could put any other QB in that system and recieve the same results.

LOL, and your not biased as a Cowboy fan...every unbiased source is picking the Patriots. I didn't say the Cowboys suck or didn't deserve to win (well I am saying that about the Bills game) just that they are overratted and probably won't be able to play with the Pats. That said, if Brady plays like Romo did everything changes as the Cowboys offense isn't nearly as inept as the Bills.
