    Hey everyone, was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for plans to spend New Years in NY... Hubby and i need some help bc this will be our 1st time in Manhattan for New Years. Need info on hotels, parties.... anything to make our trip amazing! thank you so much!

    One thing you can definitely miss is the crowd when they drop the ball. It will be absolutely PACKED around Times Square.

    yes, we DEF do NOT want to be in the mess.. thats y i was hoping to get some advice on a hotel that may have a great view or some other alternative!

    The Millennium Broadway has about the best view. 7th ave side of the Marriot Marquis isn't bad either. Getting in to or out of either from about 4pm onwards on new years eve will be a nightmare.

    great place to chill/hangout on any day of the week/weekend from 4pm-4am: 230 fifth (penthouse outdoor lounge)- 27th street and 5th avenue.

    Stay in FL for New Years. The city is filled with tourists and drunk kids during new years.

    If you want to experience New York during Christmas, come up the week before Christmas. THAT is when the city is at it's best.
