Bruce W: Class act!!!

Hi all, I just wanted to share a quick story and thank Bruce Wellington openly for his amazing generosity and class!!!

I have been on FChat for a while, but by no means am I a regular contributor, although it's the one site I always open when I have a complex question or want to get diverse news.

Long story short, I had e-mailed Bruce for his battery deal and asked for a few batteries. He was great, and I got everything I asked for and more very quickly!!!

Anyway, THANK YOU very much Bruce, you are truly an amazing guy and I hope to meet you someday!!!

PS. Bruce I hope this doesn't create trouble for you and doesn't turn everybody on FChat to asking for batteries ;-)

Bruce is a true king among Saints, I've never met anyone with on this board with so much generosity. I'm still going to send him a gift, but can't deceide on what to send him?

 

No. Not when he sells them for HALF (or less) of what Walmart charges.

Even if he made 50 cents on a box, I assure you it's not worth his time to do this. He really is doing it as a courtesy to all or any of us here.

You may also be unaware that he gave, FREE OF CHARGE, all the batteries anyone, that was in the path of our 4 hurricanes this past fall, requested.

Ash, I'm sure you didn't mean for your post to be offensive, but Bruce really does a lot of nice stuff here.

I flit in and out on a whim, and people via the internet are rarely much more than a "handle" from the tip of the tongue that doesn't affect my "real" life until i have direct converse with them or see proof that they exist in my reality, then they retain some cohesive structure that resembles a personality of sorts.

from what i know through my skimmage, BRUCE sells batteries and has AMUSING THINGS TO SAY WITH CAP SLOCK ENGAGED, and otherwise appears unanimously respected, excellent really. (although i'm not sure his handwriting was in CAPS... hmmm... )

i don't know of other stuff that may or may not go on as i can't read everything ever written (i'm trying ), so forgive my ignorance, and if i've slighted someone who's made a positive difference to someone's life, then apologies.

HEY BRUCE!! JUST WANNA LET YOU KNOW THAT YOUR FLASHLIGHTS ARE THE BEST!!! I USED ONE ALL NIGHT LAST NIGHT (SERIOUSLY, FROM 3:00 PM YESTERDAY AFTERNOON UNTIL 6:30 THIS MORNING) WORKING ON MY FRIENDS PORSCHE 911 SC. THE ENERGIZER LITHIUM AA'S KEPT THE LIGHT ON ALL NIGHT, AND MY FRIENDS PORSCHE IS NOW RUNNING LIKE IT SHOULD. PORSCHE'S PROBLEMS WERE; TWO BROKEN EXHAUST BOOTS, TOP OF AIRBOX 'BEAN' WAS CRACKED BUT GOT REJUVENATED WITH PLASTI-DIP, THREE INJECTORS CLOGGED/BAD SPRAY PATTERN, SIX NEW SPARK PLUGS, AND HAD TO ADJUST AIR/FUEL RATIO.

ANYHOO, THANKS FOR KEEPING THE LIGHTS ON BRUCE !!!!!

 

i had a bruce flashlight too, threw it in the trash, got more use and more light from this -----
