Haha...I was about to say that you must be a Redskins fan. But the cowboys look good, if they were the old fluke cowboys, they would have lost these last 2 games, but they showed the emotion of a winning team. A win's a win, a good team usually struggles with teams that are underdog's and losing key players, because they play to thier level. These Cowboys might not be a fluke as people think. Tony Romo isnt great, but he can get the job done enough for them to win. I dont see the Cowboys being a fluke this year and i dont see TO going all out of control like previous years, maybe he's finally matured. Who knows. But its gonna be a great game this sunday, it will tell a lot how good these cowboys are.

    How bout them Cowboys! :D

Romo is a decent quaterback that is surrounded by amazing players, he has two great WRs and two great RBs, not to mention a good O-line. Almost any quaterback could put up his numbers in his position.

Granted I'm not a Cowboys fan but I can't really remember anytime Romo really carried the team to a victory, its usually been other players making great plays...come to think of it the only game changing play I can really remember Romo making was against Seattle last year ;)

Can't wait till we get Terry Glenn back, oh boy, we'll going to the Super Bowl. BTW, my fantasy teams are beastly because they all have ROMO. He puts up like 25-30 each week even with 5 ints.

Do you really think Dallas is on there way to the Superbowl?

They rrrrrrrr great in all but they ain't the best in the NFC though. My Jaguars would distory the cowboys if they played them this season let alone them beating the Pats especially after Tony Romos awsome game this past week against Bufflo :D truth is dallas has had it quite easy since kickoff playing pushover teams. this week will prove weither or not they are real players or all hype.

My pic Dallas 3, Pats 51

Haha...It doesnt seem like he is out. We havent really had problems on the receiving game, with Whitten and Crayton playing excellent. TO is just a decoy. ;)

Haha...Naa i dont think they'll make it to the superbowl, i just think people should give them credit that they are contenders for it. Just a little respect, but we shall know more by the end of this week.

Are you just trying to be funny now? If you don't rate Brady as either the best or second best QB (I can see some people thinking Peyton is better) in the NFL then you are clearly in denial.
My prediction for Sunday: Pats 34 / Cowboys 10 and we'll be kind and say the Pats will only pick off Romo twice. :)

I'm actually completely serious about this, Tom Brady isn't the best QB in the league and should not be a Hall of Famer. He has done nothing impressive in his tenure with the Pats, sure 3 SBs is impressive but that is Belicheck's genius and the good team he assembled. Brady is very good, a deserving Pro Bowler, but shouldn't be compared to Peyton who could very well one of the best ever, next to Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, and Tony Romo. :D Sorry I had to throw Romo's name in there.

Whoa whoa buddyy......i love the cowboys and all. But come on now, Brady is a great QB. He's one of my favorite players of just getting the job done. He's like the Duncan of football, quiet but gets the job done. Ha...if your putting Romo next to those great, Brady is ahead of him. By far....Sorry, love your cowboys input, but a little off on the Brady part. :D

I find it interesting how everyone discredits the cowboys "because they havent played any good teams yet". The Packers lost to the bears, so are they a lousy team also? Look at the numbers Dallas has put up. And yes, lets look at the numbers from Monday night. Romo had a terrible night, 5 int's, plus a fumble. Two ints returned for a touchdown, on punt returned for a touchdown. TO shut down for the entire night, and Dallas still managed to win the game, and be one of only three undefeated teams. I have been into football long enough to know that there is no sure thing. Just ask the redskins(10-6) about the 1989 season, the year Dallas went 1-15.
    (Dallas 13, Washinton 3,)
The pats are a great team, and this will be a great game, but Dallas 31 Pats 24.

+1. A win's a win. And as i said, if they were the old cowboys, they would have just given up on that game. But they showed heart. Thats all that matters.

Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, Roger Staubach, Troy Aikman, Steve Young, John Elway, Brett Favre, and Tony Romo :D. All impressive and extremely skilled in the QB position, they can make throws that others cannot, they can lead a team to victory by themselves. Brady is a great team player, doesn't make stupid mistakes, but doesn't make great plays either by himself.

Yeah, Romo is so skilled that he single-handedly knocked the Cowboys out of the playoffs last year (pun intended).

What's seeping into the NJ water these days?

Lol..come on now, those comments are coming from a very biased view of Tony Romo and not football view. I like the cowboys as much as you do, but dont give that much praise to Tony Romo just yet. He's very good, hasnt proven the Great part yet, nor has done anything great as Brady has done. Nor he should be named with the other greats that you mentioned. Brady is a better quaterback nuff said, romo is still young, and has a lot of time to prove he is better than Brady, but right now in the present, Brady is better. Romo has a lot to learn and im pretty sure he will do well in the future.

I'm obviously kidding about Romo, he's not in that category of super elite QBs yet. Currently, I would put Brady ahead of Romo by a little bit, where I put Brady ahead in experience, Romo is ahead in passion. 1)Peyton 2)Brady 3)Romo(on good days) 4)Palmer 5) Tie of Rivers, Brees, McNabb.
I love Romo, but he's yet to start 16 games, so I can't be positive on his amazing skill until after he wins the Super Bowl this year.

    Cowboys 38-Pats 20 something.

After he single-handedly put them in there. Plus, you cannot blame Romo for that game, people just use "the bobble" to discredit one of the best QBs in the NFL.

They are doing it on purpose... they are pushing everyone to ordering all those NFL channel packages. My uncle lives in Philadelphia and only gets antenna channels, he refuses to ever get cable or satellite. He says the day that the Eagles game won't come on his TV he'll quit being a fan.

The NFL is raking it in though with all this new NFL Network stuff.

A great quote from Bill Simmons on why to pick the Pats this week...

"Tony Romo has started 16 games in the NFL. He looked great in five of them, good in three of them, mediocre in four of them, lousy in three of them and abysmal in two of them. Should I trust Romo in a gigantic game ... or should I trust Tom Brady, who has a 127.2 QB rating and three Super Bowl rings? You tell me."

Ferraridude - I really do admire your enthusiasm about your team, but you seem a little on the delusional side about how good Romo is already. Don't kid yourself - he MAY be in the same league as the great quarterbacks you mentioned someday, but Brady IS in that league now. The #'s don't lie. (and the 3 superbowls don't hurt either.)

+1 JayO, great post. You're right, Romo can be good, but the sports media has made us think he's better than he is. Look at all his games (like Bill Simmons did) and you get a more realistic view. I like Romo, I think he has a great attitude that can really help a team coagulate, but Brady has him dead to rights in the reliability department.

Tell me where Bill Simmons is from again, btw Romo has only started 15 games. Should I trust Tom Brady who has fathered how many children and then left? Brady is not in that league of elite QBs yet, Peyton is Brady is not.
