    Looking to buy a 1998 355 Spider it's black/black F1 with 18k miles. 30k service done and a new clutch. Whats a fair price? Will probably sell it in a year or so. Are they hard to sell? Think i can pick it up for around $70k.Thanks for any input! Alex

    What??? $70K is an excellent price for what he described--Actually quite a bit under market value-Show me a car similiar to that for under $70K

    As described that is a great deal. Just do a ppi before the purchase and you should be good to go.

    My post above was to answer OP's question.

    Is he able to pick up such car as described at $70K?......IMHO: No, I don't think so....Unless car has a "story" with it.

    I'm thinking of selling mine at ($80) that number and it has hyper flows, New headers, tubi, challenge grill, scuderia shields, 6 disc, (2) 30k services, new clutch and so forth and so on. I think retail on 1998 cars is mid-eighties.

    I would start the price in the high 80's.....Especially if it has a recent major...

    Thanks for all the input. I guess 70k is a pretty fair price from what i see advertised. Seems like a nice original car. Will definetly do a ppi, and post some pics if i get it! Thanks! Alex
