Strong point: Best looking car ever made. Weak point: I can't afford one. I usually breakdown when I see the one at Lamborghini Dallas. Always a good time for a cry.
Do not be ashamed my son. Grown men have been reduced to tears upon the sight of a Miura SV going by. Not even a 250 GTO seems to have that effect upon mere mortals... Joe www.joesackey.com
For me, it's the eyelashes on the P400s and P400Ses that draw me in. The P400SVs are the males in the species . lol
The car was also a perfect fit for me. I didn't have a very high desire to get out... Image Unavailable, Please Login
The funny thing is, while everyone else was paying attention to the Murcielagos and Gallardos at this event, I believe I was one of only people to sit in the Miura. I actually spent about 5 minutes total in it, trying to soak it all up. It was very nice. It was easy to get into (compared to its newer brothers in the showroom) and the interior, design-wise, looked far better than many of the newer Lamborghinis in the dealership (particularly the Diablo VTs). The base model Murcielago there was no competition, but an LP640 with the box stitching and a Gallardo with two-tone interior were quite competitive as far as interiors go... I'd have to say the Gallardo was a clear winner. However... ...when you sit in a Miura, you're instantly a chick magnet; whereas when you sit in a Gallardo, you're just another CEO Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
When was this event? I'm heading back to LOD soon with a camera and take as many pictures as possible. That Miura is just too sweet. I understand its a Dallas only car since '68 ...one owner. I would love to keep it that way, but I think I need more time! The Miura remains the only car that I wouldn't mind in any colour.
LOL. Judging from the bottom image, the blonde and the brunette both have designs upon you. Joe www.joersackey.com
LOL the paid model next to them would have too, if she had not been intercepted by the man in jeans. The blonde looked nice next to the orange Superleggera there; her dress was a perfect match for the paint.
Such a salesman. I better start improving my photography skills then. Let me know when Twiggy's P400S comes up for sale. LOL

In the November issue of Sports Car Market editor Keith Matin says of Miura SVs: "I fully support the soaring market values of Lamborghini Miura SVs where spending $1,000,000 for one no longer marks you as totally wacked out, it just means youre about 30 days ahead of the market" Joe www.joesackey.com
YEP YEP AND YEP... Mine are off the market now.....buy if you can under 1mill buy now........or wait and say GD I why did i not get it then...
Sorry Joe, But this picture isn't a period picture of the Miura. It was shot in Paris, in the Retromobile Motorshow in the 90's. It was on the Ciclet's stand. Bruno
Thanks for that correction... here is the P400S at Geneva in period. Joe www.joesackey.com Image Unavailable, Please Login
