I would love to meet up and watch qualifying on Saturday or the race on Sunday and turn it into an excuse to bring the car out, weather permitting of course. I would host something but my AV setup is woefully inadequate.

Let me know if any of you want to meet up.

I'm game on Saturday for qualifying.

Also, I can host here in town (centrally located - near Cherry Creek North and downtown) but the AV here is even more inadequate than Furman's.

Eh, just open up "the shop" for us, I'm sure your bosses wont mind...... it is, after all, a FERRARI event..... :)

There HAS to be some decent A/V there...... and maybe Sherpa will walk away with yet another F-car.

I'm not trying to invite myself but...

Don't the dealers show the qualifying? I would think a "viewing party" for owners would be a good way to get potential customers in the door. The least that could happen would be some sales at the boutique.

I think Saturday is going to be nice.

We can take turns holding the rabbit ears. I can bring some tin foil if that would help.

C'mon people, is PhilNotHill the only tifoso in the state? The WDC is on the line.

I apologize for not responding sooner...today is my day off and I just got my iMac back form the Apple store (that's a whole nother story) anyways, let me speak to Bill Stewart on Thursday and see what he thinks. My guess is that he won't care just as long as I'm the one who surpervises the dealership...shouldn't be too much trouble:) Besides, it would be a good excuse for an F-Chat meet-n-greet! I can't believe you guys almost let me drop the ball on this one!!!:)

Chris, if you're reading this (he's at the race, lucky bastard!) you better chime in with some Brazilian flavor, buddy!

I will be going to sherpa23's place Saturday morning. PM him if you plan on going. He's got room for around 6-8 people.

Thanks for the fun conversation and watching the trials today. It was great!

Hey Furman, you went NORTH, I went SOUTH, exactly the opposite of what we said we would do. My car didnt like the traffic and was getting hot (again, argh), so I didnt want to chance getting up to Louisville and overheating. I live south and it cooled down by the time I got home, but didnt want to take the chance.

Again, thanks Ryan for hosting us. Nice to meet everyone else.

I wonder if this is just a "me" thing, but my car always looks better in pictures than in real life. Maybe its because I know all the flaws and that its not a 10 point show car, when I see it in pictures, it looks pretty d*mn good, but when I see it in the garage, I focus on the few flaws I know about......

That really is a good picture of both our cars.

To bad that your car is still over heating James. It was fun seeing everyone and qualifying. Thanks again Furman for the ride.

It looks good in real life dog. Just give it a deep cleaning and maybe throw down some money for a professional wax job. That's all.

It was great to have everyone over. I don't get fellow car guys over much so it was nice to be able to share the enthusiasm for some of my old clutter I have lying around. And Mark, thanks for the supplies your brought! Awesome.

James, I gave you the number of the guy you need to make that thing look perfect. And I forgot to show you where the idle mixture adjustment is. BTW, Furman's right when he says it looks great but a pro detailing goes and incredibly long way.

Just a "little" behind in the area of fchat thread catch-up. Thank goodness for the holidays and trying to get away from in-laws who are in town :)

Yup ... it has become the yearly guys trip. It is an awesome race & a great place to party! If anyone is interested in going next year, just PM me. We go on the "cheap" and know Sao Paulo pretty well now. No Portuguese required ;)

    Cheers,
