Aston Martin Vanquish S was parked at work yesterday belonging to the CEO of another company in my building. Amazing car. I followed a green DB9 in the 348 on 95 on my way back home, but had to leave him behind as he was going too slow :)

I was guessing, since the 308 didn't have the top radiator vents... which I'm pretty sure was there by 1982... and didn't see "GTSi" for injection? anyway, I'm not 100% sure :p

I need to admit that I don't understand the value of these posts. There may be a useful purpose, but I'm not sure what it might be. Do people tabulate these sightings and create a database of where the cars were seen. Do the sightings, at some point, get converted into a census of how many of a certain model are still on the road? Do people hope that they will be mentioned on this thread? I'd appreciate someone explaining the underlying idea that makes this thread so popular. Thanks very much.

EDIT: Meant to say in sub-heading "I'm not sure why spottings are posted."

I'm not sure if this thread stopped because of VGM911's post about why people post sightings? Personally, I love spotting a beautiful work of art be it a Ferrari, Lamborghini or what have you. After all isn't that why we're here? To celebrate and discuss these beautiful works of art and machinery?

Well, in any case...to keep this thread going...10/12/07 - I saw a Yellow 355 Spider with Black Rims and a Black Challenge grill on the rear, heading North on the Fairfax County Parkway.

Black Lotus Esprit V8 heading north on 202 by Painter's Crossing as we were leaving the Cars and Coffee meet this morning. I haven't posted anything because I haven't seen anything! I think with the weather change there will be less and less sightings, at least in this area.

Today was open house at the firehouse and I saw a 360 spider, top down drive by, aftermarket wheels. Then a yellow Lambo Diablo drove by, honked the horn at us, anyone here?

On the way back from the Porsche International Gold Cup last Saturday, saw this beauty, heading south on MD4 near Upper Marlboro! WOW! I've loved this car since I was a kid.
