Autoweek--Alfa 8C Competizione test

2 tests now that give some criticism. With Ferrari pushing out perfection with every model, I think the expectations for this in-the-family car were set very high. I have the feeling that road testers were expecting more of a racer than GT model, who knows.

 

You're probably dead on with those comments. Most of these guys had a taste of the 430 Scuderia a couple weeks ago and now by comparison it probably does feel less in some ways, not in styling though, its a classic.

Here is 4 Car's review. I thought the car was going to have the SuperFast gearbox from the 599, I guess not based on their comments.

Thanks for the update Jim. I know you had a very favorable opinion of the car and considering your experiences with driving great cars that holds more weight than these reviews.
