From the top floor on a clear day you can see from Dana Point to the Mexico border.

if anyone cares or has the patience to find it, there was a horrible movie made in the 70s called "French Postcards" which prominetly featured Villa Savoye towards the end of the movie. In the movie, it is owned by an eccentric woman who has decorated it in what she calls "late Eisenhower." Worth watching the Villa scenes if you don't think you'll every get to Poissy to see it in person.

Once a year when I was in architecture school, we would have film night and watch the Fountainhead and then French Postcards when we were good and drunk . . . .

Great thread, BTW! I enjoyed the iconic Julius Shulman shot of the Stahl House. There is a very comprehensive book out of Shulman's work called "Julius Shulman - Architecture and its Photogtaphy" Edited by Peter Gossel - published by Taschen.

Shift apple 3 gets the whole resolution size of your monitor. Shift apple 4 gets the selection you pick.

    To keep this thread going...

The Pink House in Miami Shores, FL was designed by Arquitectonica in 1976. It's painted 5 different hues of pink which is a nice touch IMO. The pool is on the 2nd floor. This house was actually used in Miami Vice in the episode "Mirror Image" as an art gallery. This particular home, as well as the numerous other homes used in Miami Vice, actually sparked my interest in modern architecture. My apologies if this is a repost and for the small pics.

I like it, and actually think I've seen that episode of Vice before.

I would want to change the block translucent windows to "regular" glass though.
