Kovalainen makes me think maybe the Renaults aren't THAT bad, and that they will actually be competitive in 2008 with FA. If BMW also improves, we could actually have 4 rather than 2 competitive teams for a change.
I like to think that but then I'm reminded of 2006 when we thought it would be Ferrari vs. McLaren vs. Renault vs. Honda. It just always seems to shake out to 2 teams (maybe 3) in contention.
...anybody knows if this is The McLiarens second race on those engines? ...looking good...FORZA KIMMI FORZA FELIPE FORZA FERRARI
They were wrong ... Alonso got a fresh engine for China thanks to his crash in Japan. Hence he has to use the same engine in Brazil as well. The other contenders get a fresh engine for Brazil.
...we are gonna need a lot of BAD MOJO for those McLiaren engines...anyone ever tryed burning something with the McLiaren logo before? ...I soaked my Indianapolis cap well before the start of the Indy race in 2004 and guess what...it rained like hell!!!!
Hamilton, together with Button and Sato is under investigation because he supposedly used two sets of wet tyres in first practice, allthough according to the regulations, just one set is allowed. If this is correct and Hamilton gets some sort of punishment, this will be a might blow to his bid for championship and a MAJOR f*** up from the team. The news is taken from autosport.com
With this rigged championship, because LH is involved, if guilty all 3 will get some sort of slap on the wrist but nothing that will ruin Sunday's drama.
Nah, that would never happen, that's too contrived. Oh wait, Hungary 2006? Alonso got a penalty and then Schumacher? Ah, nevermind.
Like this is a surprise. The FIA is investigating if he used two sets of wet weather tires. http://www.pitpass.com/fes_php/pitpass_news_item.php?fes_art_id=33223
How ironic: The FIA steward is in the pits to make sure Alonso gets equal treatment to Hamilton. Now the team puts Hamilton in a disadvantage.
Back to the track... the BMW's are flying. The Ferrari's not so much. Currently 8 10ths off the pace for KR. Phil is 1.1 secs back with about 20 mins left.
Mclaren always seems to sandbag it until P2. Kimi has a real shot at this one of Ferrari can go 1-2 god that would be so sweet!
Not this time. Hammy just dipped into 1:12's and the only driver to do so. Let's hope Ferrari are sandbagging as they look dismal both are over a sec off the pace.
