Good show from Williams and their new man Nakajima. They're 7th and 8th. Naki is 8th. Fisi is driving like his job depends on it. It does who knows where he'll be next year. He's 5th.

Good pace for Hamilton but this could be a bummer.

"Hamilton, ..... used two sets of wet-weather tyres during the 90-minute morning session, contravening Article 25.3 of the F1 sporting regulations.

Article 25.3 states: “No driver may use more than one set of wet and one set of extreme wet tyres during P1 and P2.” "

I hope they don't penalize the driver for something stupid the team did. Ooops, I already used that one this year.

I guess the FIA scrutineer in the McLaren garage for Alonso kept his mouth shut on that one as it happened.....;)

No way FIA will penalize Hamilton in this race. Maybe a fine, that's all.

Wow. If they penalize him (it also looks like Button and Sato did the same thing) how else could this season get more jacked up?

Hamilton is bending the rules once again, and he will get away with it once again.

Well I hope they do! If LH has a 5 or 10 place grid penalty, he would have to do some pretty good overtaking moves to win.
And in the process proving that anyone that thinks he is just bending the rules and lucky driving the best Mc/ferrari:rolleyes: has the mind of a mental midget with the IQ of a fence post.

Although I really dislike him, Hamilton is a great driver. But FIA favouritism undermines every build up of respect I (and for sure others) have for him... I'd rather see him win fair and square than with cheating and rule bending which will always leave the question open: How good would he be without his friends at the top?

You mean like the Renault having its mass damper suddenly banned? Yea, that really helped that other team It’s such BS. Or when they suddenly banned the Michelin tires. The FIA really needs to stop playing favorites. I can't remember... who was that other team?

Think again. Given the difficulty of passing a 10 grid penalty will be hard to overcome. Thats happend to him before and others and they were not able to salvage much from it. Not too many drivers would just give way to the boy wonder in the best car. He would have to work his way up and would probably have to change his strategy and take even more chances. You know like driving the tires down to the chords like he did in China....Just brilliant like today's goof with the wet tires. He is really human....just like the rest of the drivers. :)

Sorry mate, but they were OUT OF SPEC...that was a proven technical fact...it helped Ferrari? yes...but they started the race with a legal tire and then after half the race , it was an Ilegal tire...

...now BANNING tire changes to help the rest of the grid, AND DUMP Ferraris advantage made the rest of the grid look like F2 trying to bring Ferrari down to their level...in the words of a famous FORMER Williams technical director, he quitted the team after that...

I know...what was he doing changing his own tires anyway? Shouldn't McLaren's pit crew be taking care of that?

I guess this kid is the second coming of Lightning McQueen or something...

 Ummm.... it was legal for most of the season then suddenly it became illegal. It wasn't just one race as you imply. The tires had been run in that spec and had been approved by the FIA from the beginning of the season. It wasn't until it looked like Ferrari was actually within striking distance that the FIA called them illegal.

Sometimes you get tires and mass dampers banned and sometimes your competitors get a crane in the middle of the rain. I often wonder that if LH were to drive for Ferrari if they would just hand the WDC trophy to him before the season were to begin. Bernie's boy with the FIA's team, now hat's a pairing. :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Michelin themselves take the blame for an accident that almost killed Ralfie in USGP after which it was the Michelin's decision together with the teams using them, to pull out of the race (not FIA), which turned into a disaster for the fans and also cost FIA quite some money?
But I am sure that you think it had nothing to do with Michelin dropping out.
If there was ever a tire-rule change made to benefit anyone, it was definitely not in Ferrari's favor.

    Hi Ed!

I think Hamilton is the greatest cheat (with a little help from a crane), whiner ("He didn't let me pass him!") and hypocrite (Hungary) in the current championship, which is being handed to him by the FIA on a silver platter.

Hamilton is driving a tainted (copied) car, any one of his irregularities this year on the circuits would habe meant MASSIVE penalties for any other driver (such as Alonso, Massa, or Kimi), and F1 coverage is of course dominated by the fawning British press.

That being said, I have the greatest respect for Hamilton's driving, and I am very satisfied that Ferrari has won the 2007 WCC.

All well here, I am too busy preparing for the Tour of Portugal and Spain (starts Sunday) to worry too much about Hamilton. The WDC has already been handed to him, to the detriment of Alonso and the Ferrari drivers. What a season... Take care!

FA was up to neck in it cheating with his mate Pedro a FACT ,more so than Hamilton who may have know but had the sense to keep his gob shut Alonso was driving the same Tainted (copied)car or have you forgot that simple FACT! as well

A closed mouth gathers no feet..whineeeeeeeing must be a trait.

FACT...they are both on the same team and both should have been banned. Plain and simple. No whining at all. Just a pure fact. I would expect the same if Ferrari were caught at the executive level with hundreds of documents and the driver(s) sending texts about it. Yes he kept his gob shut as he doesnt want to ruin his title shot as a rookie. No matter the boy has talent but id say he lacks CLASS. Not talking about it doesnt mean he is any less culpable in a TEAM sport.

Did I say they should have been banned no!! Did I say they shouldn't have been banned no!!. that was decided by the FIA and Bernie ok.

They were not banned so I got on with it moved on and tried to watch the racing keeping the politics' out of it and have enjoyed the racing. But no the spying stuff keeps resurfacing and like the fool I'am I keep rising to crap I read .
I now wish LH to pack in with F1 but he won't because it has been his main desire in life.
But at least it would make alot of folks happy and it would serve F1 right to drive a great talent out.

I dont know what you mean about class just say you don't like him and be done with it..
