The flak this guy is getting really has nothing to do with whether he is legit or not (who cares anyway?).

Its all about the WAY and MANNER in which he is asking for HELP.

"I WANT IT!" doesnt go down too well with people who dont even know you nor have any obligation to help you or point you in the right direction.

There is a way to open doors and solicit people's help...

Saw a red one in the Dupont Registry today that only had just over 1,000 miles on it.

The Don wants an Enzo. Why he wants it is entirely his business. I hope he finds one at a price he is willing to pay. It sounds like Enzo's in his part of the planet are fetching over 800K Euros, which in today's market is equivalent to $1.15M, about right in Europe and less than US Enzos are changing hands for. If he really wants one then he will step up up. If he 's not willing to meet the market he'll be ranting on Fchat and playing with himself to pass the time he's wasting while waiting for Enzo's to depreciate (which may not happen for a decade or so.)
I personally don't get the premium for Enzos and I certainly wouldn't be paying a premium either. I much prefer the F40/F50/288GTO in Ferrari Supercars and the Porsche CGT is way ahead as a pick for me over an Enzo.

    Yes.

Coming in sounding like a spoiled child pretty much gets you treated like one whether you are for real or not.

I've read that you want to by an Enzo from a private person, I didn't read the whole thread but there is a well spoken company in Sweden called von Braun Sports Cars who has an Enzo. And it's not a bad price either I think. It's covered just under 7000 km, http://www.bytbil.com/carinfo.cgi?id=28802CBE5CED0C&look=remo
    Check it out!

I don't think his intention was to sound like a spoiled child. If you read posts from our European members who don't speak English as their first language, there seems to be a different way they emphasise a point. By typing "I WANT IT" in caps, I don't think he meant to convey anything but his excitement, which is understandable.

I can also appreciate his desire to avoid as many middlemen as possible when trying to acquire such a piece. Dealing directly with an owner or with just a single, reputable broker seems to be a fair request and a simple way to keep the final price from getting out of hand.

This is very true. I think this 'attitude' is simply found (as opposed to lost) in translation.

No this one was in one of those ad's from a car dealer. I don't think it's listed on the site.

That is market price, market dictates price, not your wish to get a car. You claim you have Veyron and 599 GTB? And cannot show any pic of "your" cars? This is close to bull***ting, boy. May be you just need to grow up a little bit? And start learning ENGLISH? Sorry all your post are close to 12-16 years old boy style.

Wouldn't want to be mean or anything, but I think you should be the one to grow up and maybe read the thread? Maybe you should start by learning how to read and look for pictures, there are two pictures in this thread and they are pictures of his cars. When you have learned how to 'see', move to Switzerland like the thread started, learn one or two of the four national languages, and then come back.

And by the way, your ENGLISH is pretty pathetic as well.

That is market price, market dictates price, not your wish to get a car. You claim you have A Veyron and A 599 GTB? And cannot show any pic of "your" cars? This is close to bull***ting, boy. Better make grammar corrections in your friends posts. I do not trust all this at all. Such photos you can take anywhere. I do not need to learn and have no matter to be envious to all other, because I have my own 599 GTB and 430 Scuderia on order and I promised in 360/430 forum to take REAL pics and make videos with me and my cars. I am just member of F-chat comunity, whos tired of all this "collectors".

OK. Sorry. Please sorry man. I dont want anything from you. Just thought that you's one of those 15 years "collectionars", plenty of whom now starting posts about purchasing Ferraris and other supercars. But recieved a PM from my f-chat friend, that you very serious man and decided to say "sorry". Sorry one more time for my rude post. If you really looking for an ENZO I can ask my dealer, where I had placed an order for 599 and Scuderia, may be he knows where a little bit below market price ENZO could be. You can PM me maximum netto price and I will forward it to my dealer. He is real ENZO fan, owns ENZO himself and have sold several ENZO's, including one FXX. May be he will help.

Tell me, what it is that you don't like about the Enzo? You seem to have quite a strong dislike for the car considering you are a F-car enthusiast and a collector...
