I just noticed this thread and thought I would share some of the pictures I took of the F40s I have seen this past summer. Enjoy! Anybody notice what appears to be a polished trim ring around the exhaust tips? I like it, never seen it before.
A few pics I took yesterday. some cracking pics there mike, but are you sure you took them ? i mean they arent off the F40 your obsessed - eg the one with the modified rear wing aha now your back on track hehehehe. only messing
The one that I'm obsessed with isn't even in my own city! It's 90 miles away and I still never miss an opportunity to photograph it. Actually, the only reason why I have so many photos of it is because the owner drives it far more often than any other F40 owner that I know.
Agreed, good images. But Chaos, I can see at least 2 seperate F40s on this thread. Joe www.joesackey.com
Got the Oct/Nov Cavallino in the mail....the range on F40's is now described as 300-500k. Seems like they are a little behind on the latest transactions, but should get wind of recent sales in due time. I think the market could accurately be described as 350k-735k !
Oh? Seems I received the new Market Letter yesterday too. I don't know about the prices but someone's name was all over the front cover winning awards with his F40.
Wes, different publication, but also a bit behind on its price range "asks"...as far as names on the front cover, "jus' representin' yo"....as were 3 other fine examples....
F40 luggage, apparently worth the price of a major according to self proclaimed experts, but with a little patience, obtainable for thousands less. The set below, with original tan carry bags (not the new yellow ones), $2500. Another set located for a friend 2 months ago, $2800. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Incorrect. According to Ferrari of North America they are worth $9.499k. Please take the matter up with them if you please on my behalf. I would be most grateful if you can secure a reduction for me Meanwhile I wholeheartedly agree with discretion in spending, so please locate a pristine set without somebody else's name on it (such as "J.Conrad" or somebody I dont know) for me at $2,800, or even $4,000 and I will buy it today. We agree, the $9k is expensive, but I want a new set to my specs.... what can I do? The lining on all the old sets that were made 15 to 17 years ago that I have inspected is deteriorating. So Id like a brand new set which I am told is made better (yellow leather and all - I will post pics when get it). BTW I am not the only F40 owner who has recently ponied up $9k for a new set. Perhaps I will have to post more invoices... Joe www.joesackey.com
Dear Comrade Joe Sackey, You may spend your money just how you choose and you have no need to justify it to anyone who cannot afford to buy a new set! However, my luggage came with the car and was included in the price with no name, number or any other form of nomenclature branded upon it. It is all unused. Frankly, does anyone use the F-40 luggage? This notwithstanding, I cannot fit it in the front due to the fire extinguishing system storage vessel being placed there. So I cannot use it even if I wished to. With kind regards, 512 Tea Are
