From a design stand point, do anyone think that the Bugatti Veyron is a work of art.
yes. very much so. both the exterior and interior. I also think the Zonda is a true "work of art". I wouldn't say the same for the majority of cars. Even many bonafide "supercars".
Yes in my opinion the veyron is a work of art, as many of the past Bugatti's have been. I notice more and more each time I look at that car, and to me that's the definition of a work of art. In this case it's a car, a very nice one at that.
God NO. A good piece of engineering, yes, but certianly not art. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I know, but this thing is hideous
Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder. There was a Veyron at the Danville show this past month. I personally admire the engineering of such a vehicle but think it ugly as sin. My friend, whom was there with me, could not stop admiring it commenting on its look. There's alot of "art" out there that I look at and ask myself "Someone paid for this carp?"
It's a very beautifully styled car assuming it's wearing the right colors. I've seen examples that just look awful. The Pegaso version's paint scheme really ruins the car's lines. I beleive the Veyrons styling will stand the test of time. red/black - good silver/burdundy - good solid silver - good solid black - good black/lime green - bad black/orange - bad pink - very very bad This car is just to elegant and refined to be painted in bright and/or outrageous colors.
Look wise I can go either way, sometimes good, most of the time bad though. Aesthetically not a work of art, Engineeringly yes. Thing goes 252 and you're comfortable for gods sake!
