You are just unbelievable. Give it a rest. Just go somewhere else and don't ruin our joy. Mybe you should go start a McLaren chat
some people have a deep seeded bias... ah, all those covert Kimi haters came out strong when things weren't going well, while pretending to support him and the team before the season started... we know who they are... and yes, for those still not 'happy' or 'satisfied' with the season outcome, McCheaters caused their own problems this year too ya know... all the bs and team dissent within contributed to them getting points docked...that whole pitlane fiasco... and several other little niggles througout the season sure didn't help... so don't anyone for one second make an apology for them or give me that crap about how 'had this or that not happened'... it went down to the wire,,, what racing fans want, and Kimi came out on top...
pot, kettle, black. at least i know what im talking about though. no one else does. sorry but who the hell are you to tell me that ? ive been a member for over 3 yrs. i support ferrari as a team, but i support Brit drivers as well (do you understand national pride etc ?) oh and above all else i support F1.
KR was prob the best driver in the latter part of the season. i do feel though that LH deserved the championship.
If you want a PERFECT world you'll have to get rid of all the people. People haven't changed throughout recorded history. If men were angels we wouldn't have racing, no one would want to beat any other. It's just an imperfection that must be endured. It's nice to see the cheaters get their just rewards. It doesn't always happen. Enjoy it. FORZA FERRARI! May the horse be with you!
please take your Lewis Hamilton supporters banner and go sit in a corner and cry, then come out when you run out of excuses and gripes, nothing is ever perfect when things don't happen to go your way... and even when they do (apparently you are a Ferrari supporter too?) and Ferrari win both titles, you still gripe like the (sports)world just came to an end... ah, whatever...
I feel sorry for Massa too, but you have to remember that F1 has always been like this. Hell GP racing has always been like this way before 1950. This isn't Nascrap, this is actually a TEAM sport believe it or not. He's a grown man, he can take it. If anything, this should motivate him for next year even more. But right now it's Kimi's time to shine. Oh and before someone starts to still want to put an asterisk on Ferrari's WCC because of the Hungary thing, remember that Mclaren got that penalty not only for the act, but also because they tried to covered it up with BS afterwards. Flat out lying to the FIA. Mclaren also had the chance to appeal, but they didn't. You can't hold Ferrari accountable for the stupidity of other teams. I wonder if the Mclaren employees are still gonna receive their WCC bonus.
You are not subscribed, so I ahve no idea how are you a member at all! I don't want to deal with you anymore, so here is the last thing I'm going to say to you. EVEN AFTER ALL THE CHEATING AND FAVORITISM YOUR BOY LOST! YOUR TEAM LOST! EVEN THE RUGBY TITLE WAS LOST BY YOU SO EAT YOUR HEART OUT AND GO SWIVEL
Abs. That was clear since Monza. Very sad for Massa of course, because I thought he's as good as Kimi - now I think Massa's slightly better, but the timing of the Monza dnf was simply unfortunate. That's life. It is true that F had an advantage because of the team orders, but LH has had many advantages as well, Alonso was truly robbed in .hu, etc. My picks were/are Massa and Alonso - I think these guys benefited least from any favors - quite the contrary, but ultimately with the current team lineups any of the top 4 can be WDC's
you forgot to add Euro qualifying...Russia should get a result in their last game, and England will be sitting at home...
I just hope that right now Bernie is grasping for his last gulps of air as a heart attack is squeezing the life out of him
FANTASTIC.....ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC first South Africa beats the English in the Rugby World Cup Final, then golden boy Lewis gets beaten by the Ice Man....its really doesnt get any better!
you have no idea about losts of things, but thats neither here nor there. more of a case that you cant manage to deal with me (for reasons i wont go into here because im not quite as rude as you) if only why when you lose an arguement do you always resort to such crude behaviour ?
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I missed the race but Nick kept me informed....I wore my lucky Ferrari hat on the soccer field and it came through!!!!!!!! Unfreakin' believeable.....KR WDC 2007!!!!!!!!! Gotta watch my race tape....back to the soccer field....
I appreciate where you are coming from Chaos, but IMO its about being consistently good and making sure every point counts. We could say that had Alonso not crashed last race, he would have been WDC. We can say that had Lewis not parked it last race, he would be WDC. We can say that if Kimi had not had a couple of DNFs that were not his fault, he would have run away with it. We can say that if Massa had not been DQed that once time and not given up spots to Kimi, he would have won it. If you think back to Ferrari in 2002, they were so far ahead of the field that Michael would have had to shoot Mosley's dog for him to have lost the WDC. Whenever one team lets things get *that* close, they risk the small coincidental things killing their WDC/WCC hopes. It's true that McLaren may have appealed the points loss and won, but maybe Ferrari would have protested Lewis actions this weekend or maybe something else would have happened. All I can say is there are thousands of iterations of what could have happened "if only....", but the bottom line is that out of all the ways things could have gone, this is how they did end up going. And good job to Ferrari and Kimi, no? Two races ago there was but a miniscule chance that Kimi would have been able to win the WDC. It was not so much for his brilliance as it was McLarens flubs that he won. McLaren and Lewis snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. It should be a lesson to them all. Just like last year Alonso thought he had it only to get a run for his money from Schumi, Lewis and Alonso thought they had it only to get a run for their money from Kimi. Thats just how it works. I can't say the rules had much to do with Ferrari winning this year. I don't think they were really gifted anything, and most folks will remember the WDC more than the WCC. Now its time for Ron to do some house cleaning and get rid of some dead wood and some bad apples. And they have every possibility to come back next year to win WDC. Let's just look forward to Alonso's excuses and whining, shall we? I have to say in all honesty - this WDC was Lewis' to lose, and he did a fine job of doing just that. I feel bad for him, but he will have his shot.
Thank you Kimi. Thank you for proving me wrong and continuing the fight even when it looked impossible to win the WDC. As I said before, the only way the championship would not be tarnished for this season is if Kimi won it, and legions of F1 fans owe him a big thanks for keeping it legitimate. Both Ferraris performed perfectly and Felipe did take one not just for the team but for the entire sport. Also, I'm happy to see Kimi win the WDC as a giant "FnCK YOU" to Bernie Ecclestone who wanted Lewis to win so bad that Bernie is probably eating his own liver right now in disgust. Better luck to Fernando for next year. This has been a really difficult year but I wish him all the success at his new team. I hope he uses this off-season to reflect and learn on everything that happened, but he'll land on his feet. I'll still root for him to win at every race, and I'm sure he will win a few more WDCs during his F1 career. That pass he put on Lewis at the start was fantastic and exactly what he had to do, but his car just seemed unable to match the Ferraris' pace. As David Hobbs said during the race, there is a reason why rookies don't win the WDC, and Lewis exemplified that over the past few races. He has great talent but unfortunately acts like his **** doesn't stink, and all the "We this" and "The team that" quotes don't change the fact that he had some incidents of poor judgment that have turned off a lot of people. He'll be a force to recon with next year since he will be the number 1 driver at McLaren and will get the benefit of the team's attention. All in all, I feel a lot better about the sport I love than I have over the past few months. Some years the sport is boring because it is so dominated by a single figure, and in years like this, the team personalities and the FIA can't seem to stay out of their own way, but for once in a long, long time, good old hard racing is what sorted everything out. This will be the kind of season that I will get to tell my son about when he grows up with a good ending despite all that has transpired this year.
Just cancelled my trip to South Africa next year...What about the HIV and car jacking epidemics? Perhaps those should get some attention
