I was making the case against them and I know the cars run very hot and it was very hot in Brazil today.

 

I just listed the ammo, what increase in performance there is I can't say, I doubt it's much.

 

If FIA would punish the drivers and DQ them, then wouldn't people raise their eyebrows since FIA just took away WCC points when McLaren "cheated"? I just can't see FIA do this...it would make no sence.

 

Nothing can surprise me anymore, as far as FIA goes. However I think we all know who the real champions are and I don't care what they say. As I said before I just can't wait for next season.
Kimi was the best driver this season and Ferrari are the best team. Period.

The FIA has summoned the representatives of the two teams to check irregularities in the use of fuel. well then if the temp stuff is correct then:

cars that arrived 4,5,6 were battling between each other for positions which do not affect MacLaren as MacLaren team points are not valued for spy story. So this does not affect MacLaren!

Alonso was Third so cars 4,5,6 are not faster than MacLaren as Alonso had a very good margin!


Hamilton was getting always closer to car 6 so no advantage for car 6 .

Just because Lewis was closing the gap isn't enough. The issue is, they gained performance. That would mean Lewis should have caught them quicker. It's all up to the powers that be now.

He (Lewis) was nowhere near the neighborhood to pass those guys. He had to get around Massa first (being a lap down on the Ferrari) and then get a crack at the Williams and BMW's.

im torn here - i freely admit im a LH fan but im also an SF fan too.
i do however feel this is an issue that needs to be looked at.
if this chilled fuel did give a performance advantage then something needs to be done - quite what though i dont know.

That means McLaren driver Lewis Hamilton, who finished in seventh, cannot overtake the Finn on points.

Had Williams's Nico Rosberg, fourth in the race, and BMW Sauber's Robert Kubica and Nick Heidfeld behind him been disqualified for fuel temperature irregularities, the British rookie, only 22, would have been awarded the drivers' championship.

All three cars had cooler fuel temperatures than officially permitted, meaning that they had an unfair advantage in terms of how much they could take on and how quickly it could be transferred.

After a meeting between race stewards and representatives from the offending teams however it was decided that no sanctions would be taken against the drivers' places in the finishing order.

Hamilton suffered a poor start to the race then had gearbox problems on lap eight that left him adrift. He fought back valiantly but could not make it as far as sixth, which would have given him the title.

Raikkonen beat Hamilton and his Spanish team-mate Fernando Alonso by a solitary point overall after winning the race at Interlagos. Alonso ended in third.
