Yep. I do enjoy Windor's verbal and written commentary, as he is always presenting a viewpoint that only an experienced eye could. However, I do wish he'd stop pole-vaulting on Hamilton...
Hamilton should come out and say Kimi is the champion and this whole mess would end. It would be a class move and it would gain him respect and new fans!!! If I were him I would have wanted to win on the track not in the court room. Matt
Well , I don't know if this has been done before, but since the infraction was the collective teams' fault and not the drivers', why not eliminate the points given to the cars involved but leave the driver's points intact? I have a nagging suspicion I've heard of this being done for another team ........
This is sad, BMW and Williams didnt beat Hamilton today, Hamilton/ Mclaren lost because of a problem of their own
This is absolutely ridiculous. McLaren were beaten fair-and-square today, the stewards have already come to a decision, but McLaren have to be sore losers about this. Let's just hope they don't allow them to appeal it or they lose the appeal. The waiting for the decision is going to be brutal. Ugh...

Isn't this a bit like Willy Wonka and Chocolate Factory? The final golden ticket was in Brazil, and it turned out to be a fraud. Then, Charlie(of England) found the genuine ticket.
Of what? He did not win the WDC this year. If he had he would have done it with a car that used Ferrari technology in the braking system. Some would call that cheating.
Sorry, but that's as sick as the backdoor BS bernie is concocting and I hope Massa plants a juicy FU in the face of any wannabe puppet master.
Stewards confirm Brazilian GP result Monday, 22, October, 2007, 01:10 Kimi Raikkonen has been confirmed as the 2007 Formula 1 world champion after Brazilian Grand Prix stewards upheld the original race result. After lengthy deliberations at Interlagos on Sunday evening, the stewards decided not to penalise Williams and BMW Sauber for minor technical irregularities. FIA technical delegate Jo Bauer said fuel samples taken from the two teams cars during their pit stops in Sundays race revealed temperatures outside the permitted range. But in a statement issued more than six hours after the end of the race, the stewards said there was sufficient doubt about the fuel temperatures as to render it inappropriate to impose a penalty.
Apparently, you didn't see the race today(or the race two weeks ago, when Hamilton took himself out.).
+1, the title was Hammy's to win. He went for the win when he just needed some points (2 to be exact) to win the WDC.

Clearly it states that the fuel ON-BOARD the car must not be lower than 10 degrees below ambient. Nowhere does it state that the fuel inside the refueling rig must be no more than 10 degrees below ambient temperature. Nowhere does it state that the measurement must be taken from the refueling rig. Nowhere does it state that the stewards must follow the FOM's interpretation of what the ambient temp is. What regs was Peter Windsor reading?
+100 Great find. Peter Windsor has been Lewis' official cheerleader ever since he sat in that McLaren.
ITV reported just before the race started that the temperature at the track went up considerably in the hour before the race. This would have made the difference in fuel temps to ambient air even greater and no team has control over the change in ambient air temps. Its all bogus and I doubt I will watch all the races next year as it is obvious that its about the money and not all out racing. There was too much money lost in the years when MS wrapped things up so early and now the race seasons are being scripted to make as much money as possible. Its hollywood on wheels or I prefer to call it WWF1.
