Well last nite the qualifying was delayed, it seemed Home Shopping was more important then qualifying @ 2 in the morning... Tonite they will be showing the MotoGP(which Stoner has already won the title, for those ppl living under rocks) thus delaying the race start for 60mins... Ofcourse every race in the year has been delayed bar the OZ/USA and Canadian races. They love to spend 2days during the Oz GP to entertain us, then ignore us for another 12mths... Why do they hate us!?!?!?!?! PS: The ads they claim shows are streaming directly from the states are also a lie! They are at least 2weeks behind! /end rant
I noticed that very thing this week.. I download prison break and they are a week behind yet they say they are streaming direct from the US... they also say the F1 is live when it obviously isnt as ITV have the live rights etc, and they are always an hour behind.. have to sit up to f*****g 2.45 this morning to watch it... its a joke thats all I can say... you should read channel 10's forum on f1.. very funny - every topic is demanding 10 sell the rights to foxtel etc..

10 is just shocking..... With the Aussie Moto GP last week, they would throw in these massive add breaks in the middle of the race...I think they did it twice and each time it accounted for between 3 to 4 laps for a total of 7 to 8 laps that went "missing" for those that didn't have access to Foxtel. I hate 10 and I hate the way they treat us F1 fans. It is a very, very poor effort
What time did it come on last night? There is a twelve hour time difference between here and Brazil so a 2.30pm Sunday afternoon start would have been 2.30am Monday morning AEST.
Once off $1500 satellite dish installed in your backyard/roof and you can watch it [and millions of sports shows and programs] all live, inc. all the qualifying on Sat. etc. You even get to watch Italian RAI Ciao M
Try living here - we get it delayed by two extra hours, because they just photocopy the schedule from the Melb/Syd one. Plus, there are a few races (Malaysia, Japan and China are the candidates, can't remember which ones it actually was though) where, fair enough, in the east they would encroach onto the news etc timeslot, so they get bumped to late night. But in WA, they don't - however, they still get bumped (so you guys get a 9hr delay, say, and we get 11), and instead we get to watch Australia's Naffest Backyards or something similar, whilst the GP is on. F*ckers.
I was watching the race and qualifying on formula1.com(like i do all races), the race start was 2am here. They showed the race start on TV at 3am.

Well you need a decoder and somebody to tee it all up for you. Note its not a Foxtel dish, nothing to do with that. This is FTA [free to air] programs you are going to be watching. We get to watch all the Asian [because of our position] programs which inc StarTv satellite of which live F1 is one thing to watch. A pub in the city has this, as do a whole bunch of Asian resturants around Melb. Hope that helps! Ciao M

hahahaha MPMP, thanks for all the info and the link... it's something that I'm going to find more out about, as I really am sick of the crap on channel 10 with regards F1 and the fact that Foxtel dont have F1 rights.. and plus who doesn't want to have 100,000 asian channels??
With those satellites tho, don't they change the codes every few months/years? I recall a friend saying his sat became useless for awhile till they got new decoders/card... or were waiting for them to come out.
Ohh another thing I just remembered from "spoiler" thread. Channel 10 will spoil the results in the news! Before they have actually telecast the qualifying/race! I understand the delay for certain races due to coming into "primetime" but the majority of european races start @ 10pm local time. 30min delay for that movie to end is fine but plenty of times throughout the year they have delayed it for 2-3 hrs. Espically if BB was delayed. Also I recall some other race this year which would of been on during the arvo like say 3pm and they showed a B-Grade movie instead. Anyway...
