    We went to Reno last night. Stayed at the Silver legacy. Got the room keys at the front desk and went to the room......It was right next to the elevator! That was NOT going to work. In the room was an ashtry that had ashes and a set of keys (Somebody before me probably got stuck in that room and did what I did--->). I called the front desk and stated that there was no way I was going to be able to stay in that room. I kept my cool. They changed my room and asked me to come back to the front desk for a new room.

    I got the keys to a new room, at the end of a hall, away from the elevator. When I got in the room, I realized there was an even LOUDER service elevator next to my room! Here goes the call again to the front desk and on the way back to the front desk for ANOTHEHR room!

    Twenty minutes later, I was in the third room. It was nice.

    Now I know you are expecting me to tell how I went crazy, but I did not. I kept my cool. Ten minutes later, I went back to the front desk and got the front desk manager. I told him what happened to me and complimented the great service I got from Josh, the guy at the front desk...........Now I gotta get Melodie in a good mood to tell her that I ATM'd a grand for the Wheel of Fortune!

    Imagine staying at the Holiday Inn in Sandee Eggo...on Harbor Dr.....when a cruise ship rolls in, docks for supplies and blows it's horns. Horns designed to be heard in miles of open sea.

    HEY!!!!!!!! WAIT A MINUTE HERE!!!

    This is a NON-WHINNER POST, Ya moron's! I checked into two would-be misserable rooms and like most would do (and nobody would expect ME to do), I POLITELY requested a change. Did ANYONE listen to me rag about bad service? NO! Did ANYONE hear me B&M about bad service at the front desk? NO! Did ANY of you all read that I COMPLIMENTED the front desk clerks boss? PROBABLY NOT! Did ANYBODY read that I was torqued and was ready to write a letter to the president deanding my money back and throw stuff out the 30th floor window? NO! Did I B&M about ANYTHING? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! And yet I get blasted as being a whiner?

    Sorry, you read a quick story of the Pete you never knew existed, so a few apologies are due here:D.......So RE-READ my original post and start typing!

    + 1 Peter you are definitely the board whiner.......you have complained about Carnival cruises/Vita water/Internet hotels/Amazon/E-bay/Southwest airlines/your crazy neighbour and the time you claimed a fast-food place ripped you off because you didn't like their refund policy!

    Actually, I find it somewhat offensive that Peter made a post in which he handled himself well. I prefer the drama...makes for a good read...just glad I am never a victim of his wrath!

    The drive-through window policy is the best!

    I just may stop B&M'ing about things that happen to me. If I do that, then all you guys that B&M about my threads would be bored death:D Not sure what's worse: The people that B&M about my B&M threads or my B&M threads. Who's more guilty here?
