Would like to get some opinions. I'm going to make glass etchings of a lot of the exotic car manufacturers to eventually hang in my garage/model car room. Around 12"x12" squares. The first one I made over a year ago was of the Scuderia shield, but I'm not happy with the way it turned out. So I'm going to start over and do one with Ferrari and the pranicing horse above it. My question is regarding Lamborghini. I'm going to use Lamborghini written in cursive(i.e. rear of car). Above it should I just have the bull, or should I do the entire symbol? I'm leaning towards the latter, but am worried it may look wierd with Lambo written twice. Any suggestions on this and any input as to other mirrors I should do, throw 'em at me. Thanks.
I assume it takes time and effort for you to finish one of these so I would fab something up in photoshop or even paint just to see if everything jives. I made a few F1 sketches awhile ago and to get the largest one done it took me about 50 attempts, time well wasted.
Thanks for your input. It really doesn't take that long. A few hours at most. It's just taping the mirror, making sure the design is centered. Cut out what I want to be etched and leave on the etching paste for however long. Nothing real creative, but I like the way it looks and it's a nice way when framed to show my love of all these cars.
