Hope this isnt a repost, but, is there a way I can resize pictures straight from my computer instead of resizing each one on my camera? Or do I have to buy some type of software. Have a Dell XPS 410 fully loaded if that helps. Im not to knowledgeable with computers, hope this isnt a dumb question:D

    Thanks,
    Brian

Well i use a program called irfanview and after you copy all the pics from your camera to your computer, you open the program and select an option to resize a full carpet of pics...i believe that someone else over here made the same question...so made a search you will find something.

Do you have any photo editing programs on your computer, even the most basic software should have a resize tool, if not download a program called Gimp, it is an open source program so it si free and there is a way to resize on there.

    Here are a bunch:

If you just want to resize photos, you'll find something on that list. But if you want to do anything more with your photos I'd highly recommend getting a version of Photoshop and learning it. You'll thank me later.

Thanks a lot everybody. RE maranelloboy. I have not purchased any but I have windows Vista Home Premium and it has really basic things like windows media player, cant resize on that I dont think. Havent bought anything aftermarket but bought everything that dell could install on the computer when you buy it.

Well you can either download Gimp, or since that is not all that basic, you will probably need to buy some software, everything I searched on costs something. You can try Gimp, but it is a little advanced as far as I know.

I got a program from windows web site, its free, you just side click on the image and resize them, really fast good tool.

but if you have vista you should have a image resizer in your picture's.

I do the picture resizing through the "Paint" program which comes standard with any Windows software.

Can you tell how to resize multiple pics at one time? I usually do it one by one, unfortunately.

    Ok...

Open it...Click the File button...then choose Batch Conversion/ Rename...then if you download the pics to your computer...for example the pics from this day 24-10-2007...choose it and click to the button add all...then you click where it says advanced options...there´s an option there that says resize, put the size that you want to all your pics...and then put where you want to have all the rezise pics in the output directory...and finally click the button start...it should works.
