Sorry to correct you, but it's a replica of the Carabo show car by Bertone:

You sure? It really looks like a Vector to me. Or at least a replica thereof.

The first Vector was inspired by the Carabo.

Just look at his site: www.priceofhistoys.com

The Vector has different side windows and rear window. But it looks like the Vector was inspired by the Carabo.

I hate to burst your bubble, but these helmets you've been wearing are only toys - you cant REALLY read people's mind when you wear one.

    Carabo!

Without that car we wouldn't have 95% of the supercars we have today without that concept.

Its to bad Alfa could have been where Lamborghini is today if they would have taken full advantage of what they had.

So was the Countach and many other Supercars. :)

    Carabo=orginal inovatior baby!

It does look like a W8 almost if it was built in the 60's

    This thread has become useless!

By the way, what is an "inovatior" and a "W8"?

    Vector W8 http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://automobile.2405.com/automobile_gallery/Vector/W8/1_w8_2405.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.autoblog.nl/archive/2006/07/04/waar-is-de-vector-gebleven&h=1200&w=1600&sz=309&tbnid=e7nXEAUn2pRwGM:&tbnh=113&tbnw=150&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dvector%2Bw8%26um%3D1&start=3&sa=X&oi=images&ct=image&cd=3

Without the Carabos influce there probably wouldn't be a "Vector W8" or a "Lamborghini Countach"

With people comming in here saying "Useless" crap in this tread it has become very useless. I have tryed to bring it back to life manytimes in a postive way but its becoming patheic....

My energy and time is finished here.

Ummmmm I think you'll find that if you actually read the post (rather than just responding) John's "thank God" was referring to your suggestion that YOU were leaving.

As for the Viper - yes, that is a crappy replica. Why anyone would make a replica of a Viper I have no idea.... why not just buy a real one.

what's a Viper worth 2nd hand in the US ?

wouldn't be economically viable to do this would it ?

Makes no sense at all to do that.

Same like folks who still try to build 308 or TR replicas. If done right it costs you at least as much as buying the real deal.

Even 288GTO conversions are questionable. They cost about 100k and the real car about twice that.

Awww.... come on.... dont be like that - some of these kits are an INVESTMENT.

    Take Pantera's phantom-Lambo for example.

Take a $5000 Fiero add $30,000 of fibreglass and you have a $10000 Fiero - nearly DOUBLE the value of the Fiero!!!!! AND it will apparently be MUCH faster and handle MUCH better!!!!

    200k for a 288GTO? No chance. Try 500k.
