Might just be me and my luck.

Drove the 348 to work today, Every other Mustang and Honda wants to race (rush hour traffic btw), same with bikes...

So many cars nearly hit the damn thing, I just got frustrated...Talk about defensive driving.

Now I know why I rarely drive the thing :)

So much better on Sunday mornings with no cars on the road....

Think how frustrated the drivers of the Mustangs and Hondas are! They are NOT driving a Ferrari. As Einstein said: it's all relative. ;)

Drove the Mondial T to work today:

you know what's more frustrating: try a 2-lane road blocked by blue-hairs, or hay-trucks, or whatever going less than the posted speedlimit on a very fun Valley road [Sonoma to Santa Rosa] where there are only four places to pass [always blocked by on-coming traffic].

know the frustration, in a different way. Can't open her up, can't track the road, can't even know why I still bother bringing the car to work...

except, I still get a charge out of it.........weekends, well, of course that's different.

No other brand of car says, "my d*ck is bigger" to the average joe. Hence the testosterone induced reactions.

He has a 348 that induced the reactions, not a Testosterone.

A 348 and a newer V8 mustang would be a good race, can't blame them for trying its a jungle out there

I concur. Honestly I think it's kind of pathetic when someone in a 2007 Mustang GT wants to race my 328. He could beat me by a block and when I arrive I'm still in a really neat centerfold-worthy car.

I think a lot of it is people wanting to hear the engine rev, not necessarily race but it may lead to that and in a slower F car you down want to look bad getting beat by a Ford so a mans got to know his limitations.

Just drive and stop complaining, you know how many peolple out there wish they had your "problem"?
It's like dating a supermodel and complaining that every guy is looking at her.

Dang...you drive a 348 and complain? Haha...Its actually a good priced car. Im guessing its current market value is about $60K correct? Most people can get Corvettes...and you drive a Ferrari. You have the exclusivity that nobody else does.

I just go with the flow. If the person starts to encroach I just put my right signal on and pull off the road and let them go by. It's just a fun game to play. It's also a lot of fun driving the speedlimit and watching the reaction on their face.

You could always throw one of those "personal pumps" on the dash to throw them off ;)

Its all good...at the end of the night they take their mass produced "supercar" home and park it in the garage, and you do the same with your exotic...you win no matter what....and they get to go home and blog/post how they raced, beat, passed an F-Car and boost their egos.

Just ignore them and smile and wave Chris. It will piss them off cuz they don't know if you're smiling cuz you're friendly or gay or if it's a "you're such a loser and your car is a POS" grin.
