Would that have been anywhere near Walter Soplata's farm in Ohio? Walter Soplata was cut from the same cloth as Walter Medlin. I have been lucky enough to be around/see a few of them.
The ex-Surtees car from NY (sorry I dont have my GTO book and and dont have the SN) is at LRP pretty regular. I was able to speak at length with the mechanic about the car. Great to get so close to them. Some day I will ride in one.
